Hi Cheez-its, it's your cheese queen~ I'm back with another blog post! I have more from my adventures in Washington DC and in New York but for now, I want to share my times in Los Angeles.

チーズイッツのみなさん、こんにちは✨ 久しぶりのブログ投稿になります! 今日はロサンゼルスのAnime Expo関連のブログですがワシントンDCやニューヨークのブログも書くつもりなのでお楽しみに✍️

It has been a while since I came to the US but I was surprised at the size of everything in the supermarkets. I forgot how big everything was... and I was able to find so many yummy snacks! As you know, I love all kinds of cheese snacks, and I had to get some of my favorites.

この夏久しぶりにアメリカに行ったのですが何度見てもスーパーに売ってるもののサイズに圧巻...色々買って試しました! チーズ系のスナックが大好きなちずですが、特にチーズイッツは外せません! 日本にも売ってくれたらいいのにな〜🧀

These boxes were so big, and I think it took the entire summer to eat all of these (even when I shared it with friends >o<)

箱１個１個が大きい! そして重い😂 ひと夏かけて友達とシェアしたりしてやっと食べ切りました。

I had a few days to prepare for Anime Expo, and I was so nervous -- this was my first time doing a full convention with so many cosplays.

アメリカに到着してからAnime Expoに向けての準備をする数日間はワクワクと緊張でいっぱいでした! なんと言っても4日間のイベントで3日連続違うコスプレをするのは流石に初めてで...

On the first day of AX, I cosplayed Mob-chan (regular uniform). I was actually quite nervous because this was my first event in the US since last year Anime NYC, so I wasn't sure if people would recognize me. But, I had such an amazing time meeting and talking to so many of my cheez-its after the Blue Archive panel. It did take a while but I was so happy getting to see everyone 🧡

初日はチーズイッツのみなさんに大好評のモブちゃん! 去年のアニメNYCから1年、色んなコスプレをしてきて、本当にありがたいことにファンの人も増えて、私に気がついてくれる人少しはいるかなと思ったらブルアカのパネルの後に本当に沢山のチーズイッツたちが話しかけてくれて、PatreonやXでいつもコメントくれる人達にも会えてすごく嬉しかったです!

On Day 2 and 3 I cosplayed my favorite gamer girls, Momoi and Aris.

2日目と3日目は私の大好きなゲーム開発部のモモイとアリスをコスプレしました!

I had such a delicious sandwich at a restaurant that my friends took me to! It was called "La Sorteds" and it was soooo yummy. I really recommend it!

イベントの後は本当に美味しいイタリアのフォカッチャサンドイッチを"La Sorteds"というレストランで友達と食べました! チャイナタウンにあるんですがめちゃくちゃおすすめです💗

Day 3, the meetup was so crazy. It was so much fun getting to meet and talk to people, and I got to participate in the cosplay meetup and photoshoot. Everyone has such amazing cosplays, and funny ideas, I really love conventions. It's hard to find stuff like this in Japan.

3日目、ブルアカのコスプレミートアップに参加。 アメリカのブルアカファン全員集合って感じの楽しすぎる集まりでした。 みんなとお話したり、写真撮ったりして超楽しかった( ˶>ᴗ<˶)

みんなのコスプレ最高だったし、よくこんなネタ思いつくなっていう面白いアイデアも沢山あって、やっぱりコンベンションって楽しいなって思いました。日本でもこんな感じのクレイジーなコスイベあったらいいのにな(*´ч`*)

Also, this was my first time ever seeing these protest people at a convention. I've seen them in online videos before, but never in real life! I didn't understand what they were saying but I took a picture anyways~

アメリカのコンベンションあるある、ちょっと過激な布教活動されてる方たちw ネットでは見た事あるけど実際には見た事なかったので写真撮っちゃった。

On the last day of AX, I didn't do any cosplays, because I was getting a little tired and I wanted to enjoy the convention just as myself. I still got to meet and hang out with some Cheez-its though, so it was a lovely time!

最終日はコスプレはしないでゆっくりコンベンションを楽しむことに。 ここでもチーズイッツのみんなと沢山会えたよ〜

After surviving 3 days of preparations and 4 days of Anime Expo, my reward was... a delicious bowl of Vietnamese pho! It's so hard to find good pho in Japan, this felt like a heavenly reward. It was the best.

長い準備と4日間のイベントを終えたご褒美は激うまベトナムフォー! 日本にはあまりないガチの本格ベトナムフォーは疲れた体に染みました...おいしかった(,,- -,,)
