2024-12-11 02:50:59 +0000 UTCReworked to a 'T', Floor is fully detailed and great use of the idea of smoke from the urn behind him. The pillar and faded rest of the building works well and nice to see the wreaths in place. We then move the the colussos - sandals fasted with feet and nicely clipped toenails but, oh boy, those muscles on show on those huge legs. The calf muscles are split, the thighs are fully split and on show. The chest pecs are rleaxed, but huge, arms are also in the same format but the thickness of the biceps to match the forearms is awsome - a lot of muscle guys would love that proportion. He's standing proud and the 'wrap' is most def hiding the lower contents but also not hiding the sheer size on show. Superb power belly, nicely relaxed, but the size and power of the guy is on show and states it and his status as well. He can pick anybody he wants and he knows it.

The fasces, or bundle of lictors, were the union of 30 rods (usually made of birch or elm, one for each curia of Ancient Rome), ritually tied with a red leather strap to form a cylinder that holds a common axe. In the illustration, there is also an incense burner in the background, and it's possible that you confused the smoke from this burner, making you think it was a pipe. Thank you very much.
