Fat interpretation【武蔵＆大和(微修正)／Musashi & Yamato(Minor adjustment)】

今回は武蔵(艦これ)を描き、以前描いた大和(艦これ)を微修正しました。

This time, I drew Musashi(Kantai collection) and made minor adjustments to the Yamato(Kantai collection) I drew before.

武蔵は大和の姉妹艦ということもあり、身長や体重はそんなに変わらないが、胸は大和より大きい…という印象を持っています。

元々の服装による印象もあるかもしれませんが…おそらくとある同人誌の影響の方が強い気がします。

大和については、正面絵と側面絵で目などの高さが揃っていなかったので、その点を修正しました。

(Musashi, being the sister ship of the Yamato, has a similar height and weight, but gives the impression of having a larger chest than the Yamato. This impression may also be influenced by the original clothing, but I feel that the influence of a certain doujinshi is stronger.

Regarding the Yamato, I corrected the height of the eyes and other features in the front and side views that were not aligned.)

余談ですが、艦これにおける「艦娘」って皆さんどのような解釈をお持ちですか？

調べた限り、公式でこれといった設定が見当たらず、軍艦の御霊を宿した少女やアンドロイド、サイボーグなどなど…作家さんによって設定が多岐にわたっています。

私の場合「生体アンドロイドに軍艦の御霊を宿した存在。深海棲艦は軍艦らの怨霊で艦娘による除霊などでしか基本対抗できない」という解釈でいます。

これなら、艦娘が深海棲艦と戦う理由に納得がいきますし、あれだけの艤装を積むことや身体能力の高さも出来るのでは…と思っています。

(By the way, how do you all interpret the term "kanmusu" in Kantai Collection? From what I've researched, there doesn't seem to be any official setting, with interpretations ranging from girls housing the spirits of warships to androids and cyborgs... The interpretations vary widely depending on the author.

In my case, I interpret it as "beings that house the spirits of warships in living androids. The Abyssal Fleet are vengeful spirits of warships, and basic countermeasures can only be carried out by kanmusu through exorcism." This interpretation helps me understand why kanmusu fight against the Abyssal Fleet, and I believe that they are capable of carrying such heavy armaments and have high physical abilities.
