How am I doing?

So... one of you brought to my attention how they felt disappointed of me releasing the Jill mod so quickly to the public. Now that I think of it, there's a fair and solid point.

Even though the Claire & Ada version has been out for a few days already I thought of them as a whole package with the Jill version and my plan was initially to keep longer exclusivity period on any outfits I release to them, I probably should've kept the base mods exclusive for some time.

I'm very new to this whole patreon thing, I really just started three weeks ago, and I'm in no way experienced as a mod author so this is all a learning experience for me.

I don't want to scam people of their money, hell no! I was so damn excited for finally getting the mod done that I didn't think too much when throwing it out there. I apologize if this has made you feel... well.. scammed.

All that being said, I have a question for you. How long of an exclusivity period would you feel comfortable with? Two weeks? A month? I'm open for suggestions.

I wanted to discuss this openly with you because I kind of feel like I fucked up in the very beginning and that's some terrible PR right there. I want to do better in the future.

That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking when I put it out there but it got me thinking that apart from releasing the nearly finished test build a while ago I kinda forgot to have an actual exclusivity period for the finished mod. Oh well, you live and you learn.

I don't see an issue. It was the same costume/mod just on Jill in addition to the other 2 characters. I wouldn't have an expectation of exclusivity or see a reason to delay release on another version of something already public.

The thing is, I personally didn't think this base body as the "big thing", more like the base to build outfits on. That was stupid of me, of course it was the big thing, I just didn't see it from the customers point of view. To me it was all about the outfits I'm going to make from now on. Well, the damage is done, it's out there and there's nothing I can do about it now. I can only hope that the future outfit projects will be intriguing enough for me to be worthy of support.

I understand how you feel, it feels nice to make public the project you've been working on for so long, as a patron I don't personally feel scammed, I subscribed because I wanted to incentive you to complete that elusive Claire Modo found online πŸ˜‚ and I have to say I'm pleased with the results but at the same time I can what other patrons might feel, releasing Patreon projects that quickly to the public isn't probably the best course of action for these kind of subscription model because on one hand you're taking away the reason for new people to subscribe, they will not want to sub if they can get the mods so quickly and on the other hand your long time supporters might feel a bit betrayed, I have a Patreon program myself and I know keeping exclusive content adds value to my page, I only release that exclusive content a month or later publicly Besides that you're doing good bra, I love yer mods, lol
