APRIL MAYHEM

Hey folks! Sorry to be the bearer of slightly sad news--we've got like 3 back to back cons starting this weekend:

ANIME OTTAWA
CALGARY EXPO
FESTIVALE JOUISSIF

(if you're in ottawa, calgary or montreal in the next few weeks come by and say hi at our tables)! This isnt the sad news but--

We tried our best to get updates sorted for Augustine but the next scene starts with several sweet sweet backgrounds of the Gang's hideout and I don't want to rush inking those so that means we didn't quite get that done on time.

We had every plan to but our month this month was BUSY here's what we did all month long:

• MC-ed for a local schoolboard's Battle of the Books!

• Restocked our shelf at Montreal's Artist Alley Shop

• Were approved for Toronto's Artisan Market (and stocked our shelf which launched APR 15! So go by and check it out!)

• Fulfilled BOTH our pin campaigns for ANTIQUITY & LIL HARPIES (we heard word of another Canpost strike in May and wanted to beat them to the punch so it was a bit of a sprint)

• received all kinds of new merch restocks

• planning and plotting and trying to get everything ready for our new table set up at our current set of back-to-back cons. We're a bit helter skelter these days it's been a LOT of managing haha;;

We also found out we got into TCAF on top of it all, and keeping our fingers crossed on a vendor booth for OTAKUTHON and CANFUR for those curious about finding us in person hehe.

OTHERWISE-- Patreon-related....

LAB PARTNERS posts have been scheduled so you'll still get those every Friday (it ends April 25th so if you're enjoying it, give us a shout--we're already picking and plotting our next encounter with these two) We got the first experiment printed and love the look and feel of these little books. Those will go up on the shop in May! We'll let you know as soon as we can~

AUGUSTINE we're getting SO CLOSE to the end of the chapter! I was super keen on trying to get it done before we left but the stars just didn't align. We'll be working on it to be back on updates in May when we're back from the Mayhem!

TAKE OUT idk if anyone is actually reading this bad boy but in case folks ARE I am also down to the last like--3 episodes. I was also hoping to finish it before the end of the month but I was torn between: rushing it and enjoying it and elected on the latter. I should be able to get the next episode up tonight. But then I'm down to 2 episodes that still need a bit of editing and tweaking before they're done.

THE CURSE OF BLACKWOOD MANOR hehehehehehehe so we DID just get greenlit for Tas' new graphic novel~ We're both EXTREMELY excited about it and looking forward to spending the next like 6-8 months working on it. Our plan is to clear up Augustine CH2 before we jump into that one so that I can be working on scripting CH3 and a couple other things while Tas works on enough of a pencil buffer for me to catch up with inks!

So that's a bit of the rough plan for the next few weeks! Sorry again our efforts are a bit spotty but thats just the struggle when you've gotta juggle to eat =A=
