Dev Update #20 (13/04/24)

Hey everybody :)

I had a very productive past week and managed to make most of the changes I wanted made to the game. Specifically, I rewrote a major scene, added a new scene (which is made up of 180 new renders), and was also able to get started on making an animated main menu. Sorry that I'm two days late with the update. A bunch of last-minute things ended up happening, but long story short, I ended up moving out at the start of this month. So I've just been a little bit preoccupied with the unexpected move and everything, and have also only just gotten my internet back up again yesterday. Still kind of settling in to the new place, but overall, the move should not affect things much, except that I maybe lost a few days of productivity.

Dev Update #17 (25/03/24)

Hey everybody :)

I achieved 167 new renders this week, finishing up all of the rendering for v0.3. The total now sits at 880 renders and 3 animations. I did also go back and pose 2 new animations this week, so once those both render out, there will then be 5 animations total, instead of 3. I'm sure that during the final polishing phase, I will also add some more renders once I've played through the game and notice things I want to add/change.

Dev Update #16 (18/03/24)

Hey everybody :)

Like I said in last week's dev update, I was only able to work 3 days this week due to some personal commitments. But within those 3 days, I was able to render out 92 images, bringing our total to 713 renders and 3 animations. There's now just over 100 renders left before v0.3 is complete. I did also want to go back and slightly extend one of the scenes, which should add about 50 renders to the mix. So those two tasks equaling up to about 150 renders, is what I'll be do...

Dev Update #15 (11/03/24)

Hey everybody :)

I'm pleased to report that we've hit our render goal this week, adding 153 new renders to the mix. This brings the total count to 621 renders and 3 animations. With roughly 200 renders left before reaching the planned conclusion of v0.3, I anticipate needing about two more weeks to wrap things up. Ideally, it would take just over a week, but I do have some personal commitments that will slightly disrupt my development schedule this upcoming week.

Dev Update #12 (19/02/24)

Salutations, fellow humans :)

Another week down, and another solid week of progress logged! I managed to reach 132 new renders this week, setting our grand total to 288 renders. It's worth noting that both of the past updates hovered around the 300-render mark, so we've basically already closed in on that milestone, all in the span of just two weeks!

Dev Update #11 (12/02/24)

Hey everybody :)

I'm thrilled to announce that the render goal was met for this week! I was able to reach a total of 156 renders, and I also have an animation waiting on standby! The animation is going to take 55 hours for it to fully render, so I'll be slowly chipping away at that whenever I can. And if I ever take a day off from rendering, at least I'll have something I can render throughout the night, and won't have to waste that night's render potential/time.

Dev Update #10 (05/02/24)

Hey everybody :)

Today marks the first day in starting renders for v0.3—yay!

I'm writing this about halfway through today's scheduled render time, and I've posed and set up 13 renders so far. So, we should have around 25-30 by tonight, and then I'll let them all render in a queue throughout the night.

Dev Update #8 (13/01/24)

Hey everybody :)

First off, I have to say I severely underestimated how much work there was left before release. I've been working 12-14 hours a day for the past two weeks to try to get this update out without another pushback.  Good news is, I think I have succeeded in that goal. At most I might need one extra day, but v0.2 will be out for purple-belts this Monday (or worst case Tuesday). So Monday the 22nd for blue-belts, and Monday the 29th for white-belts/and the public.

Dev Update #5 (15/12/23)
