Updoots and info!
Added 2021-02-02 15:49:57 +0000 UTCCovid ain't no joke, folks! Much to my shame i must admit that before my mom and i got sick, i was one of those people who were quick to claim "it's just a flu, bro!".
consider that lesson learned. one of the things i haven't seen anyone talk about is the mental effects that left my head stuffed full of cotton and my thoughts jumbled and nonsensical most of the time. although that may just be the low blood-oxygen levels, i'm not sure. either way, i've never been so sick that i was actually scared before, and i can say i never wanna do that again.
thankfully, both my mom and me have pulled through. the covid was followed by pneumonia for both of us, but she's finally able to go the whole day without needing the oxygen machine, and i can sit up and more importantly my mind feels clearer. working on the next chapter, and the one after that is roughly outlined as well. Podium wants book 2 by the end of march, and while i'm not under a hard deadline there, i'm still gonna try to push to get us there.
Thank you all for stickin this out with me! I got some catchin up to do!

That okay, I was mostly curious. Tell them I hope there doing well. Also that when they are better and have time, I look forward to the next chapter. :)
2021-03-26 17:47:50 +0000 UTCIt's not written by me but by a friend who helps me with game mechanics and consistency stuff. He's had some rough times and only writes periodically. I'm hoping he gets back into it but I can't rush him

2021-03-15 03:04:55 +0000 UTCWhat happened to The Ogre's Tale?
2021-03-15 03:02:55 +0000 UTCGlad to hear you are back in good(ish?) health and back to writing. Make sure you continue to take care of your health. We want chapters, sure, but you can't write them if you get sick again from working too hard writing them.

2021-02-02 20:06:19 +0000 UTCGlad you back on the mend, and people who don't see it, don't realise how bad it can be, especially if there only exposure is to the non-symptomatic carriers

2021-02-02 16:12:21 +0000 UTCJust don’t push to hard to soon. Take the rest you need or you’ll just stay sick

2021-02-02 16:04:15 +0000 UTCAs others I hope you are recovering well, don’t let Podium bully you into producing an inferior book given all I’ve heard of post COVID recovery you may need more time than usual given the cotton wool effect you mentioned. Joking aside take care and you’ll have the book ready when it’s ready.
2021-02-02 16:00:01 +0000 UTCGlad you are recovering. My mother had it the week going into lockdown last year, and while she was in the danger zones was able to pull through (but got pneumonia TWICE afterwards). I am also in the camp of thinking a delay would do you good. I'm willing to wait while you feel in better health physically and mentally.
