Before I go balls-deep back into drawing more car pictures, I thought I'd take this rare moment when I find myself drawing other things to finally get some lore pictures done. I'm going to wait to put this up public until I get the other American co-founder's drawing done so I can put them up together. Let me know if you guys are interested in more of this lore-building stuff okay?

Anyway so yeah this is one of AniMECH's original co-founders, the guys who you can think for all these anthro-cars? These guys. Takahiro was head of an artificial intelligence institute in Kyoto in the late 80s when he met the American robotics pioneer and future co-founder of AniMECH Charles Ross (yet to be drawn) at an international technology expo in Japan. Impressed with Ross' articulate and complex robotic chassis, Yamamoto invited Ross to his institute where he presented some of the firms breakthrough technology in quantum computing and the creation of true computerized consciousness, yet still in it's infancy at the time.

The two decided to combine their strengths in what eventually became the Animechatronics company, and later AniMECH.

Takahiro is affectionately modeled after loose references to Steve Jobs and Hiroshi Ishiguro.
