Spice and Wolf Replacement Poll (With a Twist)
Added 2024-12-03 19:57:51 +0000 UTCWe've been done with Spice and Wolf for a little bit, so it's definitely time for another poll, but this will start with a twist! Before we start the upcoming replacement show, we'll be watching the FIRST AND ONLY THE FIRST episode of the Uzumaki anime adaptation. Afterwards we'll start the show you all vote in!
Vote for ANY AND ALL shows that you would like to see us react to! We always take note of which shows get plenty of votes, but don't win. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Sunday when the Uzumaki reaction goes public.
NOTE: Jacob and I haven't seen any of these shows!

The anime is still OK to watch, but certain scenes in the original work had more emotional impact on me while in the anime they fall flat. The story is definitely a masterpiece and maybe it is because I have high expectations that I found the animation mediocre. Just saying that I'll rather go for Ranma in this poll.

I’m waiting for it to fully come out to binge it because I’ve heard good things, but I remember seeing the trailer a while back and it did not visually look great at all. Do you think the anime is well made or is it one of those cases where the writing is so good that you put up with a meh adaptation?

I'm surprised Ranma is winning, I didn't realize it was that popular. I'm enjoying Blue box, but clearly it's not going to win, so maybe I'll vote orb, I've heard good things about it, so I might give it a watch, and it's close to winning. Also, why only 1 episode of Uzumaki? I get it's a "twist" and all, but still weird. If I was a fan of the show, I'd be a little peeved. Getting teased like that. Thankfully I'm not.
