AI art is generated, at least in part, by relating elements of the image to other elements of the image, while originally those elements were strictly local, later image generating software has begun to reference themes throughout the picture space. This has fascinating consequences for images that juxtapose the voluptuous feminine body with the utilitarian brutalism of military machinery. Image #5 is striking in this instance: no real tank has a turret with that distinct ovoid 'bubble turret' shape. The closest that you come to seeing it even in anime would be something like Venus Wars, where similar, though less exaggerated turrets modelled on the old 'casting process' turrets of early Soviet tanks are in evidence. Yet here the turret is even more bulbous, even more curvaceous, it is a direct mirror and reference to the breasts of the model, a direct and unequivocal feminisation of the shape of the typically masculine military weapon. Even if incidental and a mere artifact of the AI image generation process, it stands as a testament to the idea that we can still search for meaning even in that machine process. The softness, pliability, humanity, and even a kind of comprehensible femininity can be sought in the machine that is AI art, just as much as it can be intuited in the shape of that feminine tank turret.
