Some personal news that I forgot to tell you about earlier

Over the past couple of weeks, as I've been finishing posts, I've been remembering that I didn't tell you about some of the personal news I wanted to share. As time passed, these news seemed to become less important, but since I remembered them, why not share them.

At the beginning of this year, everyone in our family managed to get sick — a cold, a fever, a cough, a runny nose, and all at different times. Perhaps it was some new variant of the coronavirus, or maybe it was just a coincidence. It hindered the development a bit at the stage of creating images, but not that much, so I didn't mention it earlier. Anyway, it's all over now, and that's the main thing.

Also, my computer, which I upgraded just two years ago, suddenly started to get very hot — especially the processor. Its temperature reached as much as 85°C, and this despite the fact that it was not subjected to any stress at that moment of heating. Being next to such a hot processor was not particularly comfortable, as if you were sitting by the stove. I had to not only turn off the battery, but also periodically open the window. This turned out to be not the best cooling method, given the winter weather in our country, as I managed to blow through several times because of this. This is in addition to the fact that I was already sick.

Cleaning and replacing the thermal paste didn't help much, so I had to buy and replace several components. At the same time, I took a bigger case for better ventilation. The photo can be seen above — yes, the management of the wires came out a bit so-so, but the main thing is that now everything is working as it should.

Now about the development. The update has been delayed a bit, but work is underway, and we definitely plan to release it this month. Thank you all for your patience and support!

Последние пару недель, заканчивая посты, я вспоминал, что не рассказал о некоторых личных новостях, которыми хотел поделиться. По прошествии времени эти новости уже как будто стали менее важными, но раз уж я вспомнил о них, то почему бы не поделиться.

Сначала этого года у нас в семье все умудрились заболеть — то простуда, то температура, то кашель, то насморк и всё в разное время. Возможно, это был какой-то новый вариант коронавируса, а может просто совпадение. Это немного мешало разработке на этапе создания изображений, но не то что бы сильно, поэтому я не упоминал об этом ранее. В любом случае, теперь всё позади, и это главное.

А ещё мой компьютер, который я обновлял всего два года назад, внезапно начал сильно греться — особенно процессор. Его температура доходила аж до 85°C и это при том, что в этот момент нагрева не подвергался каким-либо нагрузкам. Находиться рядом с таким раскалённым процессором было не особо комфортно, будто сидишь у печки. Пришлось не только отключить батарею, но и периодически открывать окно. Это оказался не лучший метод охлаждения, учитывая зимнюю погоду в нашей стране, поскольку из-за этого меня успело несколько раз продуть.

Чистка и замена термопасты не особо помогли, так что пришлось докупить и заменить несколько комплектующих. Заодно взял корпус побольше для лучшей вентиляции. Фото можно увидеть выше — да, менеджмент проводов вышел немного так себе, но главное, что теперь всё работает как надо.

Теперь о разработке. Обновление немного задержалось, но работа идет, и мы однозначно планируем выпустить его в этом месяце. Спасибо всем за терпение и поддержку!
