And so, as promised, we came with a revised map of future updates. As you can see, some updates have been rearranged, and some have been repainted in other colors. This is due to the fact that earlier, a couple of years ago, we divided updates into large and "mini-updates", but you haven't heard about it for a long time, because we quickly abandoned this idea. This is becoming obvious, especially considering how big the two previous updates came out. This is also why several new episodes, previously not mentioned, have appeared in the update map. First of all, new episodes have been added to optimize the release dates of updates. This year we have not released updates as regularly as usual, and this is due not only to frequent unforeseen circumstances, but also to poor optimization of the production process.
Therefore, the new map of future updates is primarily designed to ensure that updates are released more often and you do not have to wait long for new content. Also, now the colors awarded to different episodes have a new designation. Namely, in which of the worlds the main events will take place, in Heatherfield or on the Meridian. Also, you may notice that one of the episodes is not marked with a separate color. You can understand why this happened by the name of the update itself (we would not like to disclose other details ahead of time).
As for the upcoming update 0.24, work on it continues. Now we are actively working on new backgrounds, which this time turned out to be quite detailed, and we are also working on gameplay elements, thinking over their content and balance. From other details, we can mention that in this update, perhaps, you will be able to meet all the main characters from the game, including those whom you have not seen for many updates in a row. According to the previous post, there could be a misconception that this episode is exclusively filler. This is only partly true, namely that update 0.24 is indeed a kind of respite after all previous events, but it would be a mistake to say that the events in this update will not have consequences for the entire further plot. Let's just say that in version 0.24 we will show the beginnings of something that can significantly affect Heatherfield in the future.
And last but not least for today. Yesterday, the developer of Akabur released a new game and, judging by some of his posts about the development, this game will even have references to the character of Cornelia. It's not that we collaborated with Akabur, he did it without our knowledge, but anyway he is one of the founders of the nsfw games industry as we know it today, not to mention that at the initial stages of the development of our game, we were inspired by the works of Akabur. И так, как и обещали, мы пришли с доработанной картой будущих обновлений. Как вы можете заметить, некоторые обновления переставлены местами между собой, а некоторые перекрашены в другие цвета. Это связано с тем, что раньше, ещё пару лет назад, мы разделяли обновления на большие и "мини-обновления", но вы давно не слышали об этом, потому что мы довольно быстро отказались от этой идеи. Это становится очевидно, особенно учитывая, насколько большими вышли два предыдущих обновления. В том числе поэтому в карте обновлений появилось несколько новых, ранее не упомянутых эпизодов. В первую очередь новые эпизоды добавлены для оптимизации сроков выхода обновлений. В этом году мы выпускали обновления не так регулярно, как обычно, и связано это не только с частыми непредвиденными обстоятельствами, но и с плохой оптимизацией процесса производства.
Поэтому новая карта будущих обновлений в первую очередь разработана для того, чтобы обновления выходили чаще и вам не приходилось долго ждать нового контента. Также теперь цвета, присуждающиеся разным эпизодам, имеют новое обозначение. А именно то, в каком из миров будут происходить основные события, в Хизерфилде или же на Меридиане. Также, вы можете заметить, что один из эпизодов не отмечен отдельным цветом. Почему так произошло вы можете понять по названию самого обновления (другие детали мы не хотели бы раскрывать раньше времени).
Что же касается предстоящего обновления 0.24, то работа над ним продолжается. Сейчас мы активно работаем над новыми бэкграундами, которые в этот раз получились довольно детальными, а также прорабатываем геймплейные элементы, продумывая их наполнение и баланс. Из других деталей мы можем упомянуть, что в этом обновлении, пожалуй, вы сможете встретить всех основных персонажей из игры, в том числе тех, с кем не виделись уже много обновлений подряд. По предыдущему посту могло сложиться ошибочное мнение о том, что этот эпизод исключительно филлерный. Это так лишь отчасти, а именно в том, что обновление 0.24 это и вправду некая передышка после всех предыдущих событий, но было бы ошибкой сказать, что события в этом обновлении не будут иметь последствий для всего дальнейшего сюжета. Скажем так, в версии 0.24 мы покажем зачатки того, что может значительно повлиять на Хиззерфилд в дальнейшем.
И последнее на сегодня, но не менее важное. Вчера у разработчика Akabur вышла новая игра и, судя по некоторым его постам о разработке, в этой игре даже будут отсылки на персонажа Корнелии. Не то что бы мы устраивали коллаборацию с Akabur, он делал это без нашего ведома, но так или иначе он один из основоположников индустрии nsfw игр в том виде, в котором мы знаем ее сегодня, не говоря уже о том, что на начальных этапах разработки нашей игры мы вдохновлялись работами Akabur.
