Oh 100%. Endless excuses are made for Bojack, but Diane gets put under a lens. I could say why I think that is, but that could bring out some gremlins.

No one in this show is perfect (which is part of what makes it so great), but yeah some people go weirdly too hard on Diane.

But I think everyone watching knows that they never will

Particularly the "who's using who" aspect since, at the end of the day, they're both using each other. They're both terrible narcissists and whenever a narcissist interactions with another narcissist it's always chaotic and messy if one isn't smart enough to just avoid the whole thing. Sarah Lynn definitely takes more advantage of Bojack since she's full on drinking the kool-aid of bad mental health whereas he is trying (and failing) to recover, so she's able to twist on and manipulate him because of his guilt. As compared to herself where as soon as things weren't good for her here she just jets.
