2022-10-23 12:08:24 +0000 UTCThe visit wasn't nearly as dragged out in the novels. It's filler. The school arc was also meant to lead directly into the next arc, which served as the climax. Being pedantic doesn't change the fact that the adaptation changed the flow hence the purpose of these scenes. It went from establishing Yuzarania to a buffer before the action, which was supposed to take place right now.
