CGV doesn’t stand for anything and it’s just the name of a Korean movie theater chain. IU‘s concert movie was exclusively released at CGV. Also, “GV” has nothing to do with CGV. It stands for “Guest Visit” which is like a q&a session that the cast and director have with the audience after a movie screening. The director who joined IU for the GV wasn’t the director of the movie, but the one who actually directed the concert itself. He’s been working with IU since 2017 and also she interviewed him before on her youtube!
