About the death stakes possibly changing after this, I get why it would be a conclusion. But, imo, it’s important to highlight a crucial different from real life, in which, real life doesn’t need to be well-written and compelling. Things just happen without consistency or ceremony. But in a story, all those elements are important, so I wouldn’t expect any meaningless and gratuitous deaths to take place, which would be incredibly tragic and an anti-plot device, at the expense of the story being good… I felt this moment more like a huge milestone more so than a change of pace, necessarily… It’s just my two cents, anyways… :)

2022-06-03 04:45:03 +0000 UTCI think it was explained in CP9 (Enies Lobby) arc when a normal person ate 2 devil fruits, the 2 devils within the fruits will fight each other in the host body. And the body cant withstand it and the host will dies, or something like that
