Nevermind the fact that they did my girl Boa dirty by not showing her fangirl reaction at seeing Luffy again lol! So although I can see why some people would enjoy this version as a rewatch, for a first time, I think you'd be missing out too many nuances which add to the depth of the characters as we know them from the anime (even more so than is intended in the manga if I dare say so...)

2022-03-29 20:28:50 +0000 UTCAlthough I really enjoyed the reactions, I do agree that One Pace does seem to be detracting away from some really emotional build up that is necessary in watching the anime as opposed to reading the manga. The exposition we get about Coby's feelings of worthlessness and fear from the scenes that were cut when he sees his fellow marines be decimated around him, it cheapens the reason why he ran and also(no spoilers) the way he feels when he sees Luffy again and the effect it has on him....
