Hinata was not Shizu’s mentor. Hinata was one of Shizu’s students who has far surpassed shizu at a younger age.

And Traveling also takes Time, for example Traveling to Dwargon took like 3 days and Traveling back took another 3 Days. When they wanted to make an alliance against the Orc Lord that took also 7 Days. So there are a lot of small Time skips and bigger Time skips. Between some of the bigger events is always a bigger time skip. For example when the adventurer came that where ordered to beat the Orc Lord, which then made a deal with Rimuru to say that they Beat the Orc Lord and Rimuru helped, they were trained by Hakurou for like a month too or something like that. And Shizu only surivived that long because of Ifrit, because if you remember, Rimuru absorded Ifirit and after that Shizu body aged really quick because she was really old, but Ifirit kept her young/alive.

2021-02-08 05:05:29 +0000 UTCBy what I've seen it looks as though the time is flowing the same in both worlds, but Shizu was being kept alive and young through the power of Ifrit, that's how she didn't appear to be as old as someone who would've been in their 70s/80s if they were a child during WWII.
