To think Oda think all of it through, that man is such a genius. He’s way to advance in case of a brilliant storyline. The fact that it’s 15 years old already since this came out(especially the manga) and yet it never gets old. This is what I’ve been telling people of how One piece is such a masterpiece but then they get intimidated by how long it is like sucka’ you’ve been watching naruto how is this different? Well yeah sure It’s LONGER but who would want it to end tbh? I really LOVE one piece and been re-watching them ever since(yep I over and over) So much respect for Oda for being determine and consistent even If he’s sacrificing his health, dang man.

Just trace back to how Kaku, Kalifa and Lucci acted, you will find many subtle hints. How they fought and talked were very different from other shipwrights.

People's reaction to the quadruple cross get me every time. Its so funny to see the shock and realization. Great episodes!

Rachel Keys

Yeah, characters aren't forgotten in One Piece. Buggy and Smoker is still after the Strawhats. It's a very dynamic world. After Usopp Vs. Luffy, Luffy didn't smile for the longest time in One Piece, so far.

Nanach

Those shipwrichts had a little too much screentime to be just nobodies. That may be the only thing. Use your gut ;)

Nanach

the original Pluton is hidden and the location is known by Robhhin who read the porneglyph in alabasta Iceberg had the blueprints for the Pluton which where preserved in case someone activates the Pluton to be able to fight it with another Pluton.

DukeSmile

can someone explains to me this , do Icebergs have Pluton plans or a weapon that can counter Pluton ? i'm confused

Hamza Jirrari

@AJRich as you correctly remembered Crocodile was after the ancient weapon "Pluton" and if you also remember the dialogue between Robin and King Cobra the Porneglyph Robin read DID have the current location of the Pluton (which we now know its a ship). So with Robin in their Hands the CP9 doesnt even need the blueprints but good thing only Robin knows... Also, the whole Plot got speed up because of 2 things: 1. Nico Robin arrives with the Strawhats and 2. Iceberg mentions to Kalifa that the government agents are coming over and over because they want something he has and doesnt want to give them, actually confirming to her that he DOES has the plans which wasnt sure to this point. Also yeah the show is shifting up gears, but as i keep repeating it will become better and better, maybe you should consider doing some OP on saturdays again since this Arc / Saga is really really hot stuff. Also yeah Oda is great in creating a world giving crumbs and little infos that add up a hundred Episodes later (Alabasta to Water 7 is 100 away already). Also what you`ve seen is only the tip of the Iceberg yet (pun intended). Also keep in mind that Luffy also came here for a Shipwright so you gotta check the checmistry of all characters :D

DukeSmile

Things to you are suppose to know by now. There are powers other than Devil fruits in this world. You saw one of them in skypia arc.

Morgan Hellström

Not spoilers but reminders: The Alabasta Poneglyph told Robin the location of ancient weapon Pluton, which according to Crocodile is a ship that can wipe islands. The Shandora Poneglyph told her the location of another: Poseidon. She very briefly mentioned this on Skypiea.

We need more! haha

When you're done with the arc, try re-watching it again. There's quite a few biscuit crumbs that goda sprinkle along the way. They're easily missed but once you connect them, it makes complete sense. In some previous episodes, Franky said that he only steal from pirates. Also, despite the people's plead to Iceberg to chase Franky out, Iceberg never did it.

What's interesting is that now that you know the identity of CP9, if you go back to the previous episodes and pay closer attention to what they say and do, they'll mean very different things. Like when Kaku told Lulu not to badmouth the government, or when Kalifa asked Iceberg about why Corgy keeps coming back and what he wants. Or even when Blueno feigns ignorance while Kokoro and Franky talk about CP9 rumors.

Loving the reactions

sergio sanguino

Between Skypiea and Water7, Oda introduces the fact that other powers exist in the world beyond devil fruits that can be learned.

AzureWolfe

you have got to love Oda as an author he is such an amazing writer always making everything conected

KaitouLuminous

As I meantioned on a previous Episode. This arc and the connected arc are some of the most lore impactful arca that are going to be introducing you to things that will be even more relavant later on. Pay attention closely not just to story points but abilities people use.

Mike

You'll get answers for robin in the coming episodes man. im looking forward to your reaction on the next few hundred episodes :)

Matthew

I'm not gonna go into details here, but the guy smashing a hammer? That was not one of his Devil fruit powers, I think it is safe to say this much. And Franky only kidnapped Usopp because he needs him alive to lure Luffy, and Usopp had 0 chance of surviving Aqua Laguna where he was

Lucas Prestes

Yeah, I agree. Kaku actually did that twice, the other time he said that was when they were at the shipyard, after Corgi left. But, I wouldn't have guessed it was Kalifa and Blueno tho.

aKIFa 96

I absolutely love how Oda makes a hysterical and random devilfruit ability strong and interesting.

Tim White

And yes the twist with CP9 and Franky was very good, W7 and the Following arc are one of my favorites. Glad you sticked with OP, it will only get better.

Aleksander Wertynski

You'll learn later what Iron Body really is

Icy

yup, shame you didin't watch one more,

Aleksander Wertynski

I'm with you man, these twists seemed to come out of nowhere. Even rewatching, there's barely any suggestion that these guys were under cover. The only subtle hints that were there are only things you can really see after rewatching. For example, the main one that stuck out to me was a couple episodes ago when the foremen were talking outside of Iceburg's door. The guy with the glasses and weird hair spike was mentioning that he actually suspected that the government could be involved, and Kaku (the guy with the square nose) said something like "hey, you shouldn't talk bad about the government, you can get in trouble" But he said it like he was concerned for their safety, not like he was with the government. They really didn't want anyone to see this reveal coming.

I V

I promise now you really are getting to the good stuff, this is so beyond good writing, I totally agree with the others above this should be marathoned, or you should st least go up to three episodes! You will not regret it! I was so shocked the first time i saw it, and its more to come. ENJOY!

jonas eik

agreed

Icy

This arc needs to be marathoned

GainingGamer

Would've been great one more episode
