it's funny how some people are still of the opinion that Ainz isn't a villain, and a really hardcore one at that. The change is rather gradual, but still pretty fast. I'm glad you realized that Ainz is most definitely, not the nice guy here :)

Well technically this is all Demiurg's plan because he thinks that this is what Ainz's is planning. And because Ainz has to be an all knowing Leader, he can't just say "No we don't do that" if if would be benefit Nazarick and it is actually a good plan. But well Ainz himself is now at the Point where is like "It's a good idea and i want that Nazarick is well known, so if any people from the MMO are here too, they know me and can come to me." It's pretty crazy. But i mean the Workers get what was coming for them, they took a Job that in their opinion was worth to risk their lifes for. I think i heard someone say that in the novel it got mentioned that Ainz places gold on purpose out side of Nazarick (on the surface in the small tombs) so that the Worker could take the stuff and just leave, which would've been still a shit ton of money, but instead they were greedy for more and entered Nazarick which was kinda like their death sentence.

It's not in the novel. Someone asked the author this in an interview. And he told the people that the sisters got sold as slaves and worked themself to death. Its a very dark thing. And also explain how Ainz effect the world around him
