Honestly I think JJK has their best written female characters in shounen. Maki is just such a badass, but like nobara is probably one of my favorite jjk characters, if not my favorite. Which is crazy since I don't remember shounen where I would consider female character being my favorite or at all. On top of it there's no fan service at all, which is like super big positive. Characters feel like characters with their own agendas, motivations and their own agencies. On the other hand megumi, being the Sasuke like archetype is one of the most sensitive and caring characters that takes stuff to heart way too much sometimes and just being natural introvert is really nice and unexpected imo. Yuuji being really empathetic and just wholesome, is nothing new for shounen mcs but the way story punishes him and just makes him suffer, I just feel for him.

Personally, I definitely think the female characters in Jujutsu are really well written and have more fleshed-out personalities in comparison to most popular Shonen anime

The third guy Gojo was talking about is NOT the guy in the cinema they just look alike because of Mangaka bias in that normal looking guys look like that. Gojo was talking about Okotsu (or whatever the name was of that third year that's not round right now) and the guy in the cinema we will meet next week.

It's a little confusing because they have similar character designs, but the 2nd year Okkotsu Yuta (that did very well on the previous year's exchange event, and has a lot of potential according to Gojo) is a different character from the new guy in the theater that also happens to have black hair covering his face. Okkotsu is overseas right now, the new character is the one that will have a lot of screentime.

BTW. Fushiguro didn't say "she" in the Manga. He said "They". The subtle translator changed it to match their opinion and they admitted so on Twitter. Ik shounen fans get their panties in a twist when you bring up the possibility of a character not being the hetero normative, but I think it's worth mentioning. The author used "they" on purpose.
