Yes the movies are worth watching, but maybe not reaction to. I will say as I do about the fillers. When you have watched all the canon stuff, your're gonna be thirsty for some more one Piece. So it's really nice to save all that for later (It's also really cool to see how weak the gang where back in the day). Enjoy all of the meat and potatoes for now, and save the desert for after the meal.

I got say I really enjoyed the Clockwork Island Adventure. I would say it fits into the story before they get into the grand line (since the crew consists of Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Usopp and Sanji)

Some of the movies are really good but you have to get further into the story before you can watch most of the good ones

That's not true One piece film gold was created by oda, he said it was cannon and you can buy a manga version of that entire movie that he drew.

Well it depends heavily on the Movie
The early movies have been made by toei without the creator of OnePiece (Eichira Oda) and the lack quality and are not that good, i liked the gasbade movie tho.
Some movies are straight up episodes gluied together (there is a movie that shows the whole Alabasta Arc in one go).
The new ones (Strong World and every movie since then) is extremely strong as they are made by Oda with the mainstory in mind, so they work much better as they actually fit in (except for stampede which is 100% fanservice and its awesome).
So i would say pick the good or at least not bad movies but wait until you actually CAN watch them because of spoilers!
The first good / worth movie is "Dead end adventure" which you should wait at least until you past CP9 Saga.
Also Baron Omatsuri is kinda ok and after that its actually already the good Movies.
Complete list of OP Movies:
One Piec: The Movie -> kinda Meh
Clockwork Island Adventure - is One Piece in another reality somewhat okish (not worth tho)
Dead end aadventure -> Pretty good but far ahead in story
The Cursed Holy Sword: kinda meh the plot feels (compared to OP) pretty artificially
Baron Omatsuri: okish to good
The Giant Mechinal Soldier: so bad i forgot it directly after watching
Episdoes of Alabasta: Glued episodes
Episode of Chopper: Remake of Drum Island + new characters
One Piece Film: Storng World -> Awesome
One Piece Film: Z -> Awesome
One Piece Film: Gold -> Really really good
Onje Piece Film: Stampede -> best fanservice ever made, but i dont like some of the animation tho gfreat still

I wouldn't mind you reacting to OP movies, personally there's a few that I find really good while the rest is a bit "so-so". All of them are non-canon (the ones that aren't '... the episodes of...' . But if you're gonna watch one, I recommend you follow the released timeline cause I didn't find it really fun to watch straw hats of "this level" (in the movie ofc) after catching up to the latest eps. And also to avoid spoilers.

Moments between the crew members like that Nami and Usopp moments, are what really make watchers attached to characters and make them much more complex and human. I really enjoy those moments and you'll get a lot of them throughout the series sprinkled here and there. It's also a moment where you see that strength isn't always physical strength, it reminds us that Usopp and Nami aren't necessarily "weak", at least in mental fortitude.

With the mention of Pluton, we've gotten our second major clue to the larger lore of this world.

I love Nami and Usopp's friendship, as they relate to each other so well. Also Nami is just the one able to apply Usopp's Climatact to its best potential, because she understands weather so well.

I think the movies are pretty good. The early movies are kind of just a recap of some arcs but it's still a fun rewatch. Later movies are side stories that are still pretty interesting. I can't really say that those movies are completely canon but elements like the character's in some movies are canon (like Shiki in Movie 10 One Piece Strong World) The most recent movies was 2019 and that one also featured a canon character if I'm not mistaken.

I wouldn't mind seeing that, it would be interesting to hear an ending that's unique to that episode! 😊
I second this AJ!

As far as this episode goes, and your comments at the end, I do think Crocodile is the best villain so far. His plans and ambitions go very deep. He revealed another layer to his ambition in this episode where he said that he's after military power that can rival the whole World Government, with this Pluton weapon. As for how he knows about Pluton, you'll have to pay attention in the coming episodes as that particular story is explored

The movies are pretty good. I haven't seen them in a while. I don't think any are canon, but they're all based on canon information in some way

Of the 13-14 One Piece movies out only 8, 10, 12-14 have been released commercially. 1-7, and 11 are all Japan only. Of the commercially released movies 8 is a recap of this arc (Alabasta) with newer animation. Movie 10 Strong World and most of the modern One Piece movies are HIGHLY recommended in the fandom even if they're mostly standalone but they SHOULD NOT be watched until you get around episode 381 (for Strong World) or after episode 520 for all the newer ones as they contain HUGE spoilers about the later developments of the series. Of the Japan-only movies fans would probably recommend Movie 6 because it's directed by Mamoru Hosoda (Girl Who Lept Through Time, Boy and the Beast, Summer Wars, Wolf Children) and best watched possibly after the next upcoming arc. Movie 9 is a recap of Chopper's Arc but with some characters introduced post-episode 336. The only "safe" movies to watch at this point are Japan only Movies 1-3 but they tend to be pretty lackluster compared to the epicness and fun of all the newer movies. In general, you have a ways to go before you really get to some of the better movies.

but regarding movies they all are watchable, but worth watching are One Piece Strong World, One Piece Gold, One Piece Stampede and One Piece film Z those are the best moves out of all of em, but dont recommend any of em for good while. There is also One Piece special 3DY2 which i think is canon and you could call it movie due it being almost 2 hours. Other than that they aint canon but some characters are canon to one piece world. Like villain of Strong World is canon but the events of the movie aint if you catch my point :D Also the movies get some two episode ovas which airs in the show to give the movies small prologue. You will see later!

Hey AJ I have a request for you. More like I'm begging you at the end of episode 128 there is a special one time only ending song. NONE of the other reactors every watch it when they reach that episode, they always just skip over it. I was hoping when you reach episode 128 you could react to the ending song. Please I love it so much and I think you'd might enjoy it as well.

None are canon , but the newer movies are really good since Oda had started helping write some moves
