For example if I drop you in a pool of lava or acid regineretaion isnt gonna do you any good.. youll just keep melting over and over.... so yes youll live.... but youll be in sever agony for the rest of your life..... Being able to regenerate has its drawbacks. Hes not an alien he was born on earth he literally said it right after being called an alien lol. They also said the ammo they use on him isnt dangerous to humans so Nagisa was never in any danger when he suicide bombed
