The wax power is definitely a powerful one. Especially with a guy like Mr 3 who has the imagination and intelligence to use it in a number of sneaky and creative ways.

It was his way of saying "Kick me all you want, I'm still coming after you" It's his rebellious fighting spirit. Just like how he kept tackling Don Krieg's exploding spear head on. Luffy will do anything to show his opponents that he doesn't back down

Though I'm very surprised that he actually did it. Anyway, that's such a hard rock! It can even stand multiple explosions. The faster you put up the next video, the faster you'll see Luffy punched their face in. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

He stopped when his third option opened up when Luffy got there. Crazy person wouldnt even stop there. He just choose the better option
