I like how people who hate Gabi and/or side with Eren always have to toss the "it's just anime" card at some point lol. It's almost as if they are fully aware of all the parallels that could be made to our world but force themselves to ignore them and detach from them.

The story has gone to great lengths recently to not set itself up as "this is good vs. evil, these are the good people, these are the evil ones, please cheer accordingly". Everyone's done questionable shit, and everyone feels that they have to do what their doing.
