Welp, I have important news. I recently got hired by a company that translates games and I start working on the 25th. I'm not sure how much this is going to affect my schedule, but I will say for now that you should expect a longer gap between these chapters. If I don't think it's too bad, then I might be able to maintain the current schedule, but I most likely won't be able to do that initially until I settle in at this company. I'll give you guys more information when I have it.

I'm back from my reserve military training. There was a really bad rainstorm during the training and my umbrella was pretty crappy. It just constantly leaked water on the inside, so my head became drenched almost instantly. I had a really bad headache by the time I got home and a slight fever the next morning, so yeah. It was a terrible day. I may or may not take a break to fully recuperate, but we'll have to see how my condition progresses.

Woo, we've reached the big 3 double 0! I'm grateful that everyone has been able to read this far and I hope you guys continue to support my translations.
On a side note, I have reserve forces training in two days, so the next chapter will probably get delayed. I didn't have to go to these for 2 years thanks to Covid, but now they're doing it again starting this year. I can't wait to do military training in the blistering summer heat. Woo.

This is the start of the next segment. Seems mostly like it's wrapping things up from the previous segment.
On a side note, the construction across the street finally started. They finished demolishing things about a month and a half ago but didn't start the construction until now. My morning/afternoons are going to be hot AND noisy now. It's great.

I hope everyone's been having a good July since I haven't. It's just been really hot and humid lately, making it very uncomfortable to translate in the morning. It's rather hard trying to concentrate and translate when the air feels suffocating. If a chapter comes out late, then it's because I couldn't get much work done in this heat.

Today's another day I just want to go back to sleep after uploading this. It's July now. I hope everyone is doing well and surviving the summer. The rain stopped, and as I expected, it became immediately hot and humid.
On another note, the episode with my brother's wedding is apparently going to come out in August, so yeah. If I don't upload for a couple of days sometime in August, it's probably because I died of embarrassment.

I'm so dang exhausted still. This chapter came out late because of the big wedding thing I mentioned before. The wedding itself was fun, but I was miserable before and after the wedding. It was hot wearing a full suit, so my hair was a mess and my face felt grimey all day. I was even interviewed after the wedding was over and I got home at like 11pm. I doubt I came out good on the cameras... Ugh.

Welp, here's the next chapter. Man, this really does feel like the longest segment by far. There's something about these chapters that make them hard to translate. The perspective changes almost constantly and it's hard to stick to one tense since that also switches around frequently. It's pretty annoying since I establish rules for myself while translating, but those end up getting broken over time because of how the author often changes writing styles according to the situation. Wedding was fun. I guess it's wedding season now since Covid restrictions are starting to go away. Though I don't really want to go to another wedding anytime soon. I have way too many relatives, so I usually spend like an hour or two greeting relatives I've never met before. Very tiring.

Enjoy the chapter. More loud noises have been happening around my neighborhood again. Loud people shouting on megaphones. I think the district mayor election is happening soon. Why is it normal here for candidates to go around in trucks through residential areas with loud music blaring? I hope they don't get elected.

Well, that was a fun chapter. I sort of wish Dant was a bit nicer to Daisy, but then again, she does try to kill him constantly in a roundabout way. Oh well.

It's been a while since we had a chapter with just Elizabeth and Henrietta. Actually, I don't think we ever had an entire chapter with just these two.
On another note, there's a chance my schedule might change a fair bit because I'm applying for a new job. I know I said this before, but the last time I applied for a job, the company sort of went dark on me and didn't respond. I feel slightly more hopeful this time, but there are no guarantees yet.
