The thing about early One Piece for a bit is Luffy is so OP that they have to find ways to keep him out of fights or it would be over too soon.

2020-09-12 01:57:59 +0000 UTCI like the joke where when Zoro called Nami "small fry" Sanji thought he was saying "small chest" in hindsight. Compared to even just a few arcs from now, with just the general art evolution of the show, that's not exactly wrong. :P On a more serious note, I like Nami a lot during this early part of the arc. I don't think you ever really buy that she's actually bad, but she puts up a good act, and the "fake-killing Usopp scene" tried its hardest to make the audience second guess themselves.
