Cowboy Bebop Eps 1 (PATREON REQUEST)

The cowboy genre is obvious from the title, but it also has a heavy noir influence. With the dark colors and subjects the characters wouldn't be out of place in a 40s detective story. And I know it's been commented on, but the main cast really does have terrific english VAs. Steve Blum in particular IS Spike. Hope you enjoy it enough to check it out beyond the request! Edit: Oh and the ENTIRE soundtrack is actually perfect, definitely pay attention to it!

Bebop is amazing. Like Samurai Champloo, they wanted to pick a musical motif. for that one it was hip hop, for this one it was Jazz. that is why the music seems so different.. Also, this is one of very few anime dubs that is just as good as the subs.

This might be the only show where I prefer the dub to the sub - well, this and Samurai Champloo. Steve Blum is the perfect voice for Spike. As for the whole "how this space society came to be" thing, this isn't really that kind of show. It's much more just presenting a crazy universe and then telling a story within that than it is trying to explain the rules of that universe.

Cowboy is the slang for bounty hunter, Beebop is the name of their ship. The drug enhances reaction speed, like any kind of stimulant, it was having a deleterious effect on his body. She killed him and then waited for the cops guarding the gate to kill them, murder/suicide, like she said, 'no escape.' She's toast. "Tijuana" appears to be an O'Neil Cylinder, a type of space colony suggested by American physicist Gerard O'Neil back in the 70's, you can check Wikipedia for a full explanation. The dub for the show is really good in my opinion. -Q.

She didnt live, thats why she said "Adios", also she wasnt pregnant, that was all those vials hidden up her dress/shirt making her look pregnant, the music is one of the best parts of the show, infact every single episode title is the name of an actual song and they dont inject their eyes its a spray/eye drop and they werent technical in space at the end, they were pretty high up but t he city is in a dome still within the atmosphere sooo when she fell there was gravity thus thats gonna be very long drop

Oh man, are YOU in for a TREAT! This show, like Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of a handful of animated shows that transcends perceived demographic limitations of the medium. I always recommend this show to folks who don't know anything about anime. Bebop was the first anime show on Adult Swim in 2001.
