My Hero Academia S4 Eps 13 FULL REACTION

My Hero Academia S4 Eps 13 FULL REACTION

that blue/teal color is reused constantly for midoriya, its not new to him being at 100%. Anytime all might goes beyond, you see flashes of color go by, and each color represents a different one for all wielder. if u watch closely, one additional color is added when midoriya "goes beyond" vs all might, its the teal/blue.

Fight the powa

11 hands down better than 13, the feels still get to me and I've watched it like 20 times.

Heroes Rising. Two Heroes was the first movie.

The song in this episode, by the way, is called "Might+U". It's actually a bit longer than it was in this episode. Beware of My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising spoilers if you look up the song.

Gestrid

technically it first appears here in episode 13. the movie doesnt take place till end of season 4 mid season 5

Elijah Moffett

as much as it pains me to say this, the quirk he would have likely gotten from his parents of flamebreath/telekenisis would not be very cool, at least not as cool as RAW POWER. even if it was we already have a pyrokenisis quirk with Shouto

So that vocal song that played when Deku caught Eri wasn't something made for the dub. Its there in the original Japanese, still with English lyrics. And I love that scene SO much. I've rewatched it more than the 100% Full Cowling stuff... which of course, is also awesome. But blue? Nah, if anything, this is Super Saiyan GREEN, sir! :P (On a side note, don't go looking up that vocal song. It actually first appears in the second MHA movie, Heroes Rising, so there's a fair chance you'd stumble upon spoilers)

diddyknux

The only downside is that Ryuku's group (Uraraka, Tsu, and Nejire) really didn't get to do much. Otherwise a fantastic arc

diddyknux

yea but they also cant show things that didnt happen in the manga, they still need some kind of material to animate, in the manga theres nothing, just a black line

Krammy

this whole season 4 is just fantastic, i dont think there was any bad moments, when i think back on other seasons i generally think.. hmm, thats kind of strange but not this time, cant wait for future reactions

Krammy

This is the first time that Deku has combined 100% with full cowling, so that aspect was new. Instead of just breaking his arms and legs he was probably also traumatizing his whole body by channeling it all over. Overhaul's mysophobia is at the root of his problems, it's so bad it induces a psychosomatic reaction just to be touched by other people and has influenced his thinking. The yakuza clan that took him him are dying under the weight of hero society, so he views them as being just another manifestation of what he hates the most; disease. His willingness to violate his body by combining it with his henchman's forms shows his determination. Episode 11 was fine; in the manga we get nothing like the slide show, there's just a black bar and text that says for five minutes Mirio fought without his quirk before it shows him being stabbed by the spikes just before Deku arrives. I think it was a good choice for the time constraints.

EP 11 is actually considered one of the dissapointing MHA episodes ever. In most fights MHA is a good adaptation that is better than the manga, but the Lemillion episode animation was bad and the slideshow at the end was the nail in the coffin. Most fans hate it and were mad at studio Bones for not giving it the proper care it deserved. most resources were used for the Heros Rising

Angel Zamarron

I think my favorite part of this episode was watching the climax from Overhauls perspective. The ominous music, the hail of fists, and the hopeless look. To him, each punch felt as big as they were shown to us visually. Mirio's episode was good because it was a display of skill, but this episode was good because it was a display of power.

Also id like to just put this theory ive seen out there which i rlly think is possible. Several people have said that deku’s quirk was taken/stolen. Why do i think it is possible? Well as we know there are quirks that can temporarily erase quirks, take quirks, copy quirks, and who knows what else. It is rlly possible deku’s quirk was most definitely taken, but how? Well ill let you think about that, just look back and think...hmmm who or what could have taken deku’s quirk? Can Eri rewind back deku’s dna to regain his original quirk he was meant to have? 🤔

PyroPhoenix

Many fans like to theorize the possibility of eri accidentally one day reverting deku back to before he had One for All and/or possibly giving him the possibility to get the quirk he was meant to get.

PyroPhoenix

thats not blue hair thats super light green also she wasnt unlocking any abilities, he just doesnt go all out because of the damage it does to his body. Since she was protecting him from that damage he didnt have to worry about that anymore and could go wild... so he did, an like you sad, he cant really do that again unless of course hes always gonna have Eri around to strap to himself whenever he needed to go big and well we both know he cant exactly walk around with her in his pocket all the time

Antoine Jones

What invelios said, he didnt unlock any abilities, he was just being “healed” for the most part. She rewinded the damage to his body back to being fine. As for Mirio, the bullet he received was one that rewinded his quirk back to never existing. Is permanent? Who knows cause its a combination of Overhaul and Eri’s quirk so its possible it was rewinded and destroyed entirely out of his system.

PyroPhoenix

Yeah I break it down at the end and figure that out.

Aj Rich

Eri didn't "Unlock" any abilities for Deku. Deku used 100 all the way back in the entrance exam. All Eri did was rewind the damage Deku was causing himself due to using 100%, removing the only real downside Deku has to using 100%.
