There was one of big tragedy in Joseon history that Uncle became the King killing his nephew. His name is "Soo yang(name) - Dae goon(means prince)"=Prince Soo Yang. He was second child of King SE-JONG(the greatest king in korea history / for big example he created Han-Geul*korean letters) Joseon King System was eldest son succession. Soo yang was second child so can't be the KING. After his older brother died, his young 12 years old nephew became the king. Soo yang thought that The king should be himself. So he forced the king to step down from his throne with his oressure and threats. The young King (Dan Jong) didn't have any power to opposite to him. Movie "face reader" is based on story that era. And there is lots of famous actors who you already know coming out.
