Sunomata Ichiya Castle is a real thing and legends say it was supposedly was built in a single night. It was actually a quickly assembled wooden fortress using pre-built sections and actually took a few days to complete, so technically it wasn't just one night, but it happened so rapidly that to the enemy it felt like the "castle" just suddenly appeared one morning. It was in a strategically important position where the Sai and Nagara rivers meet and though not a full-scale castle, it served as a crucial military outpost to intimidate and demoralize enemies.
