And others did as well. We saw this exceptionally skilled man at getting them—he seems to not miss. So in a way it needs skill. But of course there is also a machine factor. I frequent arcades and became acquainted with the staff and one of them told me that they can adjust the grip of the claw. They can tighten it, so that no matter how much swaying and vibration, as you have said, the claw will firmly hold the object. They can also loosen it so that just a slight movement can make the claw open up.
