A fun fact about the sheath of gobta's sword is that the reason he can use it to attack is because the inside is lined with a coil of magisteel from wich magicules can be launched in a similar fashion to a railgun. Apparently this is the only weapon similar to a gun that rimuru allowed to be made in tempest and it was given to gobta because he was the only one he trusted with such a weapon.

He also practices his Skills and magic. But another thing he likes is researching golems, and other types of artificial bodies, and he he got much more interested when he was trying to find a way to bring his people back. He invented a thing called a chaos core, which is an artificial soul. There are multiple layers to a soul, and souls have certain types of information imprinted in them. The word chaos is associated in Slime with demonic.... Shuna's main Skills relate to analysis of magic and creating new spells.... There are numerous gradations of similar Skills. These include degree of thought acceleration; how fast you can move ; whether you can fly, and by what means (for instance, originally Rimuru could fly because he possessed wings, but he later acquired Control Gravity from Carybdis, so the only thing he uses the wings for is control); types of mind communication; types of transport, starting from Shadow Movement up to Control Space; types of barriers one can deploy; if and how quickly one can self-regenerate; whether and how many self-repIications one can make, and what the replications are capable of; I am probably forgetting a lot. These seemingly minor things actually have a lot to do with the plot, esp. battles.
