After Walpurgis, Rimuru and Shion return to Tempest exhausted from the events of the evening. Rimuru had gifted Shion the remnants of Demon Lord Clayman's mask since she did hold her own and even beat Demon Lord Clayman in a one-on-one fight. Little did they know, Clayman imbued his mask with a small amount of his soul, enough that it could possess someone and take over their body, Shion just happened to be close enough to be the vessel for him.
