Progress Report #16 - April 24, 2022

Howdy folks,

This week has been more of scene 4. We are closing in on 300 renders for this scene alone and if my estimates are correct, I should be done with scene 4 by the end of next week. That will lead us into the last three scenes of the episode. 2 are much shorter than this one, and one is similar in size. This scene has been a huge amount of work and has made me realize a few things that I had to address.

Up until this point I've been able to only get between 40-50 renders a week, as they average about 2 hours in render time. That means that I'm only able to average max 8 a day in order to save a few hours every night to pose. However, if you didn't see on Discord, I've just ordered another premade rig with a 3090. I'm going to take the 3090 from that rig and pair it with the one I have and that should cut the render times for the rest of the scenes by 2/3 to a half of that. I'll be placing the 2080ti that is currently paired with my 3090 and barely sees any use and moving it to the other rig. This will give me a rendering rig and a posing rig.

So, while things have been slow going they are about to speed up tremendously. We are fully committed to getting our first release out sooner rather than later and this change is our showing of commitment to you all to make it happen. We hope that when it comes out everyone thinks it's as great as we do so that the investment is worth it. I absolutely think you will.

Next weekend I will  definitely post the numbers as I'll be excited to put a big 90-95% (I'll still need to do the coding) done and on the books for scene 4. I know I've been slack on those but considering it's been the same scene for about a month, it just seems a bit overkill. I hope that's understandable. 

I'm finishing up a few renders for the day and then will work on the Bi-Weekly non-lewd render. It should be up late tonight for some of you and available early in the morning for the rest.
