 The Lemu's Family Story

The Lemu family has lived and owned a bakery in Hanford-on-Begley for a very long time. They inherited it from generation to generation. For many years, the bakery has been a favorite place for local residents. Every morning you can find delicious bread and buns, take cupcakes with a variety of fillings as a gift, and order a wonderful cake for a holiday in here! But now everything is not as smooth as was in past.

After Richard's wife death the family began to have money problems. They do not live in poverty, but they could not afford the surplus. That's why he decided to leave Hanford, hoping to get a high-paying job in San-Myshuno. He wanted his mother and daughter to leave with him - the big city promises many opportunities for him and for his growing daughter.

Nani, Elodie's grandmother and Richard's mother, did not support his idea and insisted on staying in Hanford with her granddaughter. She had lived here since birth and had no intention of moving, even because of the difficulties. Throughout her life, Nani devoted herself to bakery, doing everything on her own. She never let her granddaughter help her, adhering to the opinion "if you want to do well, do it yourself."

However, since childhood, young Elodie wants to help her grandmother in the bakery, while Nani makes her spend all the days fiddling in the garden and selling food to local residents.

And this every single day. Grandma grumbles at her granddaughter, cause she has her head in clouds and disappears in Brablewood Forest instead of doing gardening. Nani disappears from morning till night in the bakery, baking and selling pies, bread, buns and other goodies. And only sometimes she calls her granddaughter to help with clients and deliver food to their homes. And Elodie wants to rattle pots in the kitchen with her grandmother, feeling the aroma of bread only from the oven. And she hopes one day granny gives her such an opportunity.
