Mushoku Tensei S2 Ep 3 - REACTION/REVIEW~!

That's a well worded explanation of the charm this show has.

Its very interesting see the differences in reactions to this episode/show between men and women. A lot of the women didn't seem to fully grasp what Rudeus was going through in this episode which to an extent makes sense because how could they really empathize with something like erectile dysfunction. Where from the men's POV most of the reactions were a lot more sympathetic to Rudeus. Something like ED (Erectile Dsyfunction) is going to be a massive hit to a mans ego and sense of self. It's a lot more serious then people give it credit for. Think of like the frustration you go through when a body part stops working. For example: You break an arm and now you have to figure out for the next couple of months how to interact with the entire world differently then you have for your entire life. Its a very frustrating feeling. It's even shown to an extent in the show with how Sara reacts vs Rudeus' reaction. Sara took it as an offense to her where as in reality that is not even close to what Rudeus was thinking. What Rudeus needed was someone to be there, someone to connect with emotionally because a lot of his current issues stem from abandonment and having Sara just leave like that only added onto it. Also with the opinions on saying they should not be showing the sex stuff I entirely disagree with. It is very important for understanding Rudeus' character. Its also a massive allegory for people in the real world that have these issues. It's not about the sex directly is about Redeus' trauma and emotional state, about how he can figure out and understand how to interact with other people especially the opposite sex in a healthy, meaningful, and fulfilling way. Without any of that this show doesn't make any sense, the point of the show is to show all of the mental health issues, traumas, relationship problems, etc. from all angles because people in the real world experience these problems every single day. A character like Rudeus is soo much more relatable to a vast majority of young men out there that experience these type of problems because they are raised on the internet and isolated from the world. For as flawed as Rudeus is he is an infinitely better character then chad mcchadington that solves all problems with a wave of his hand and has the answer to every problem without trying. I guess all I'm getting at is that all the stuff they portray in this show even when it makes you feel uncomfortable is absolutely necessary to the show and the show would be worse off without it.
