For context of the quote, the song is about wishing you did something before you don’t have the chance to, and in the songs case it was death. So my thought! Whether that’s old Ghoap AU reminiscing on an old memory where they almost kissed or before the split up for years. OR make it more devastating and have Simon replaying a memory and at the end have him standing on the cliff side where the spread Johnnys ashes talking to him. Your angst on your secret account on twitter has given me a new sense of purpose I swear. I literally have been scrolling through all your works, which I’ve done already multiple times, but never saw that account so I was FED today.
