Gameplay fix requests?

I have started development for Update 4. This update focuses on new growth stages as well as challenges awarding more experience to reach them easier, and possibly sexy elements on the side, depending on how much I can stuff in.

That said, I am aware Update 3 brought some controversial changes to the gameplay. While I think it's mostly in a good state, now that it's been a few days, I'm interested in knowing the main issues you've had with it, if any (gameplay only, please ignore content or bugs). I might be able to make a change for the next update.
I know I've been asking a lot a questions on that end, but I might as well make it right while I'm on the topic of updating gameplay. I've compiled some of the feedback I've had, I need to know how common any particular sentiment is. (you can pick more than one)

Feel free to develop your sentiments in the comments.

Did about 20 runs with Ruby and barely made it to floor 3.

Removing cards is a bit too Rng dependent but otherwise the game plays fine and is enjoyable across all 4 characters. The varied play styles also make all worth playing.

After finishing all four characters (Amber and Ruby before the rune changes), I find the gameplay for each character to be well-balanced. It took me between 10 and 12 runs to max level and beat the story boss, and the card/relic gains are, I think, perfectly balanced for the current duration of the maze. The only criticism I have is probably the witch doctor, who, with certain decks, destroys your XP if you don't accept the hit if you don't have the right potion at the time (but very rarely is a killer run, actually). But especially the Red Dragon! At the stage where you fight him, you're supposed to have your final deck (usually), but this thing just HURTS SO MUCH! If I'm unlucky with my card gains, I have to pray to avoid running into him because I have a better chance of beating the final boss than him. In theory, I agree that yes, it's a dragon, it's strong. But going from "All is well" to "It's lost" is frustrating. But I don't think the Dragon itself is the problem; maybe I just don't have the right method yet. But in that case, maybe buff the final boss of the labyrinth. Make him resurrect his allies like before, or give them the same passive as the skeletons (3 turns?) and even generally buff the other non-story bosses. I don't remember losing a boss fight, which I find a shame.
