2021-09-19 19:54:19 +0000 UTCSo a bit of clarification from the Light Novels; Paul didn't grape the maid in the past. Her took her virginity and she was angry because he didn't take responsibility and ran away after. She actually chased him across the continent until she found him married to Zenith and decided to become their maid. Polygamy is pretty common in this world except for followers of one religion which Zenith's family follows. It's implied Paul swore he wouldn't attempt such a thing to get Zenith to agree to marry him. Lillia's seduction was toned down a bit for the anime. Paul is scum, just not as bad as the anime portrays him to be. One more note on Paul's family, Greyrats suffer from almost a curse of perversion. His particular line is almost unable to resist large chests, another is obsessed with beast people, etc. Paul was worried that Rudy and Sylphie were becoming too dependent on each other, which would stifle Sylphie's emotional and mental growth. This is what I remember from the Light Novel's anyway. This is still the first or second book and I've read up to the 12th.
