Hey guys. My account was recently temporarily suspended. You may or may not have noticed.

A recent post was deleted by an automated filter I guess. I repeatedly tried to re-upload the image, I figured the image was totally fine, but it kept getting removed. My subsequent inquiry to support resulted only in vague responses referencing guidelines. Based on those guidelines, my entire creative practice should be incompatible with the platform. Suddenly, my account was suspended for review, leaving me completely unable to act or post.

So, I reached out to the support team, and we exchanged polite emails with each other.I tried to figure out what the specific problem with that image was, but they only responded about the guidelines

But then suddenly, my account was temporarily suspended for review, and I couldn't take any action, and any access. They said to 'delete posts that violate the guidelines, for example remove the posts that were temporarily stored, remove the X connection.'

Anyway, my suspension was lifted.

What upset me is, I still don't know what was wrong with that image. If that image violated the guidelines, then I should have been permanently suspended or had my account deleted upon review. I shouldn't have been allowed back cause, you know, my content is all like that. According to the guidelines, REALISTIC AI cannot operate on Patreon.

Second, during the email exchanges, the account suspension was too sudden. I wasn't complaining or raising dissatisfaction. I was only asking gentle questions about why. If it's my fault for not knowing the guidelines well, the standards are too vague. It says that for posts that provide sexually gratifying, consent from the person themselves is needed, but I have no way to obtain consent. Because they are fictions created by AI!

And according to the guidelines, I am a creator who should not exist on Patreon. Not just me, but most.

Furthermore, AI creates random faces. So I created consistent characters considering the possibility of resembling real people. Of course, part of it was creating ideal people I like, but I put in considerable effort to create consistent characters, considering the possibility of resembling real people, while trying to uphold ethics and morals.

What pisses me off the most is,
if I had figured that I couldn't go on, I could've given you all a proper heads-up, processed refunds, or made announcements. They just kicked me out without even knowing the exact reason and purpose, mentioning only the fk guidelines. The funny thing is, I still don't know why that image got flagged

Well, that makes my decision easy. I always thought Patreon was too inconvenient to use and I have been considering alternatives. Can't upload videos (so I'm stuck making clunky GIFs and juggling links), the UI, app management all suck

I'm not an artist, but I DO create something. Honestly, I know nothing about this side of things. I chose this platform for the creative act based on what I vaguely knew, and I still believe this direction is the right one. I'm considering OnlyFans as the next place, but I feel the vibe doesn't match "creative" cause OnlyFans is purely based on adult content. However, looking at all the factors, of seems the most ideal to me.

Until that move happens, I’ll keep posting as usual. Nothing changes for now

• my work will carry on exactly as it was before

• I'm considering a move to onlyfans

For god sake, I’m f busy. This is such a hassle and so annoying.
