Tier Changes and Other items of import.
Added 2023-07-06 01:39:59 +0000 UTCTiers have changed. I attempted to resist inflation as long as possible, but my choice to work with AI Art has increased costs.
After consultation with my beloved and wise parents, 3$ has become my current baseline for new Patreons.
The 1$ Tier will remain in existence as long as people are subscribed to it, but as they cancel, it will slowly be limited and then phased out.
Now, on to more happy things.
I subscribe to the Tome of Rules that has recently been published.
I am also working on understanding and purchasing the correct DnD books.
I am also working on acquiring Cyberpunk game books.
The reason for all these is a massive difficulty doing the damn math for the current 'system' I have. As many have noticed, it's vanished with a lot of handwaving done at the moment.
So, I'm caving. I'm going to use already existing stuff.
This will mean faster chapters. Numbers will matter again. I won't have to question why goblins can't take over the world with pure numbers. I won't have to keep checking physics websites. The backstory will already be easily written. Even better, I will have other nerds (friends) who can explain why casting fire hands and killing ants cannot make you a demigod.
In the future, each new world's Crystal Wall will be breached, and restrictions will occur depending on if it is a Twenty-Die, Reforged, or Cyber Universe. There will not be exact ports because Eve is powerful. She'll get something new each time, something that will feed into getting back home. The hand waving will halt.
Worlds will be eaten.
Cores will be devoured.
Plots will flow, in my opinion, smoother with math already done.
A great deal of the lack of communication on my part has been the finalization of my case for VA disability, reaching the last stage (I'm on the docket, praise be), and moving into my newly purchased home (closer to work with no lights only freeway to it).
On that note, though, questions are welcome. I'll endeavor to answer what I can.
Raised pitchforks are not, but I know I can't have it all...

The math for a realistic System can get a bit over the top when you really get into it, so I think it's a good choice to make use of what is already around and has shown to work well. On the Patreon Tiers, that's fair tbh. A man's gotta eat. So long as the lowest of rungs remains accessible, all's good yeah? Also, it might be suitable to consider monetary conversion. As in, where I'm at U$20 can buy you food for a week, easy. What is not quite clear, I think, is if the different Tiers are going to change to giving access to more chapters than the lowest one or not. I hope not, but would like to know if that's the case.
