New pagges! It ended up taking a little longer than I expected because I wasn't satisfied with the design I initially made for the hydra, so I had to make some extra concepts for the different heads. I might post them along with some other random sketches in the future. From now on the scenes are going to be a real challenge to draw, but I'm excited!

btw false hydras are one of my favourite dnd fan creations, and seeing them in your style was such a treat. your design of the hydra was absolutely astounding, keep up the amazing work gamer.

Niceee! And this is supposed to be kind of a hentai horror comic, so this comment makes me happy.

Regarding this glitch effect, it's very interesting to see how it reacts depending on the device you use to view it. I like how unpredictable he can be tho.

Leo Yoyoro

Nicee, I'm glad you liked it! I hope you like the other heads too!

Leo Yoyoro

That last panel holy moly. You could draw horror comics with that.

Fran Franken

Right? Plus it gets really creepy when I view it from my phone, because it does this weird glitchy thing where it blackens out the Hydra's face and limbs. So the most prominent features are its teeth and "eyes". Making it eerie as all hell. Wish I could show you guys but unfortunately, Patreon doesn't allow image replies :(

Dang 3 times? That's some real narrative dedication right there. Oooooh, we're gonna have action scenes? That's pretty awesome, and if it's anything like your Jiro cover illustration I'm sure you'll do great. Have more confidence 😁

Holy hell that hydra design is creepy, hats off to you, you nailed the atmosphere. And like always your art is a delight to look at. I really can’t think of another artist that portrays facial expressions as well as you do. Really eager to see how this plays out.

Part 2 would take place immediately after part 1, outside of the sewers. However, depending on how the ending of part 1 goes, there's a chance it could be one or two weeks after the events of part 1. I've already rewritten the ending 3 times, so I might end up rewriting it a fourth time as well. As for what makes the next pages difficult to draw, it's because I don't have that much experience with drawing monsters and drawing action, so I feel a little out of my element, but this is something I need(and want) to learn and I feel like It’s possible to do something cool with it, so it will be difficult but I’m confident.

So does part 2 take place after a substantial time has passed? Enough for the Hydra to consume enough victims to grow an additional head or 2? Or will it take place immediately after part 1? Damn XD. With a head that big in approximation, it's easier to gauge just how massive the body must already be. Can't wait to see what your finalized decision is. Also, mind if I asked what makes the upcoming scenes such a challenge?

Max

Initially I planned for it to have 3 heads at this point, so it's still quite young. If I eventually do a part 2, there should be 4-5 heads there. As for the exact size, it's difficult to say because the body doesn't follow many standards. I would say that the head, from the chin to the top of the skull should be two clerics and a half, but don't quote me on that just yet. I have a general plan for where the story goes, but things like this I experiment and decide kind of on a week to week basis XD.

HOLY SHIT!!! They finally noticed the Hydra and the fear on Cleric's face is simply sublime. So with its reveal, I'd like to know just how far along the Hydra is in its growth cycle. Is it already a fully grown adult? Or has it yet to reach maturity? It's clearly bigger than Cleric, but just how big?
