I was thinking about this recently, and almost did it for the most recent character. I've done it before very sparingly (people voted for Busty's suit color). I've shyed away from doing character-design polls because I often tweak a character's design over the course of making their debut animation, as I figure out what will look best in the simple animation style. Luna Longshot may end up looking slightly different by the time the animation is done. That being said, I will remember to include character design polls whenever it seems like one would make sense, with the disclaimer that I might have to make some changes as I start actually animating with them.

Maybe you could do that to? Like gain help from the community to make characters and whatnot? If not that's fine. I just thought it'd be cool to try!

2026-03-17 09:43:15 +0000 UTCYeah in some cases I'll simplify a suggestion, some things are too big for one month of work. I also personally prefer including characters from one series (Nintendo characters being an exception, since most people accept them interacting because of Smash Bros)
