As promised, I mentioned in Tomi's post that I would introduce you to his friend, Cherri!

I made two plush keychains!! This plush is a cream soda bunny (I say "cream soda bun" for short haha). I was inspired by cafe cream soda floats that are served using a rich green melon soda or a bright blue. The melon soda is a classic treat to me and I wanted a fun food-themed plush (o:

Cherri had a lot of time and love put into her. It was a tough process and even towards the end, I couldn't get certain details perfectly. Cherri's overall shape was supposed to match Tomi, but when they arrived, I was surprised about how much larger she was compared to the photos 😂 The cream soda buns still look very cute, just chonkier!

♢ The Process ♢

Above is a graphic I made that includes all the phases and edits made to Cherri. The plush started out as a tomato, but then I lost passion in the first theme and changed course! My manufacturer was patient with me as I was only allowed a certain amount of revisions, but they provided me with more revision opportunities to make sure I got as close to what I was looking for! Communication was the most challenging. Feedback consisted of a combination of messages and drawing on top of photos the manu provided. What I learned from making plushies is to over communicate!!
