Status update episode 6

I definitely agree with you there. It just doesn't make sense mathematically speaking for Jill to be the MC's sister. I can see that Aunt thing as a possibility. But my guess is at worst a distant relation, at best there is no relation at all and the letter has nothing to do with that at all. I suspect it probably has to deal with some trust fund she set up for him or along the likes, or maybe her parents want to meet their grandson or something along those lines. But it's all guesswork at this point. I eagerly await to see where this story goes.

I can't see logically that Jill is the MC's sister. Given the Rusty/Jill meeting at the Prep house, they are roughly the same age. This would make Jill a couple of years older than the MC. If the MC's father's story is correct on how he met the MC's mom, then it is unlikely that Jill and the MC are bother/sister. I had not considered the possible Aunt fact. The MC's mother did come from a wealthy family. However, I think that there are other possibilities and threads to entangle with the society aspect in the future.

I can't wait to find out what's in the "important letter about his Mom" that MC's Dad told him he received in the last text. MC will get to read it when he goes home for his Birthday. This should be very interesting and possibly clear up the Jill speculation. I'm thinking the MC is gonna have money to help his Dad redo his house and Maya break away from her shit Dad.

If you look at Lynette's picture on your phone it's pretty clear that she and Jill are related, somehow. If Lynnette is Jill's older sister who died that would make Jill the MC's Aunt.

I've been wondering the same thing. It's definitely told as in reflection of events for sure. AL brought such a deep and visceral emotional response from me that no form of media has brought from me for a very long time. It's why I come to love DrPinkCake's writing so much. I also thought of more evidence against the whole Jill is the MC's sister thing. MC's dad mentioned that he met MC's mom when she was 18. Which means she would have been 15 when she had Jill and that just seems unlikely given everything. Definitely going to stick with he's either an distant relation to Jill, or the letter may not even have anything to do with her at all and could instead be some sort of college fund set up by her family or just a loving note. It's really hard to call at this point. I definitely am unsure of what's up with Isabella. Something wrong in some regards, just hard to figure out what. I suspect it's pretty dark to warrant the "call for help comment" from the MC so that is definitely worrisome. But I still doubt she's a killer or something. I dunno.

Also, I would like to see who the MC is talking to or who he is telling his story to. At the the start He Speaking like hes telling on "How it went" I Wouldn't Mind if it had something like AL. What happened in AL is what makes the game so sooo Good, yes its Brutal but its good, it makes you really feel for it yknow?

The biggest thing I can see when it comes to theory that Jill is ya sister is that when ya talk to her about her family she mentions that only had an older sister who passed away. So while it's possible that Jill just doesn't know, I find that theory a tad unlikely. I find it more likely ya a cousin or some other relation, which admittedly isn't any better. As far as people not wanting it dark, did no one pay attention to the warning before the game? It's clearly going to get dark at some point and if acting lessons is anything to go by things are going to get rough before the end. I find it unlikely that Bella is a killer of any kind given that it's just too obvious. I'm super curious to see where the game is headed and thoroughly enjoying DrPinkCake's writing thus far.

There are plenty of games that deal with this fetish. It's nice (so far) to have a game that doesn't dabble in incest and I want that to continue. Jill being the MC's sister would absolutely ruin one of the main storylines in the game. There are too many downsides and not enough upsides to this approach. Jill is my primary focus in this game, Bella scares me too much and Josy/Maya are too looking too dramatic for my MC. My guy just wants to have a girlfriend, drink some beer with his frat buddies, kick some jock ass, and score 100% on every exam. He don't got no time for two girls who are dating each other, but maybe, sorta, kinda, aren't sure; or a woman with clear mental health issues who needs therapy before she's ready for a relationship. So if Jill ends up being the MC's sister, that would be a major problem. As for Acting Lessons and "the choice", I'll defend it. Yes, it is dark, and the third act of that game can be brutal, but it was a brave decision in a genre of games that rarely attempt any sort of meaningful story. I wouldn't want every game to be like AL, and I don't want DPC to use that sort of extreme pivot point in every game, but I applaud it in AL. It really helped emphasize just how much the player had grown to care about characters that makes the choice so impactful.

Yeah, the Quinn (Tommy?) subplot is likely to have some cool crime drama elements but that's not "dark." But relatives are relatives even if you don't live with them or were raised with them. In the US, it is still against the law (the porn industry's recent popularization of it doesn't make it legal or okay). I don't live with my sister but the idea of sleeping with her is repulsive and would destroy both of our careers, families, and lives if it got out. Nah...making Jill and sister would end the romantic attraction for most players. Some who are into the idea might like it but I suspect the majority would be disappointed.

The relative theory with Jill doesn't bother me at all since they weren't raised together, but I agree 100% on the dark stuff. I just recently re-played Acting Lessons for the 2nd time and I agree completely with your assessment. Fun game, but the final act with "The Choice" was incredibly unpleasant and not something I'd really like to go through again. Hoping with this game it continues to be more "tame". I expect some dark parts since we're dealing with some drugs, prostitution, and likely suppliers that are potentially going to get violent to a degree, but I'm just hoping the end result isn't something that's going to turn me off to the game.

DrPinkCake….oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please, don't break Jill and Bella. Please don't go down the Dark Path with Bella and especially not Jill. Both are fan favorites. Reward us! Don't leave us disappointed by making either of them undesirable or unlikable. Their mysterious subplot points to many theories, some of which are dark and unpleasant (yes, I would be severely disappointed if Jill turned out to be MCs sister, or Bella a stalker/killer to name just two dark theories). I liked Acting Lessons overall but found the third act unpleasant (but that was the genre of the story...it was a thriller so it was great for what it was like any well written thriller). This game isn't a thriller.

Maya Looks great as always, and Jill number 1. Just a bit of White in there shows some nice camel toe, to where option 2 does not show it. And also when are we getting back at Quinn? For the shit she put us through in Episode 1.
