Status update Episode 5
Added 2020-03-06 11:59:08 +0000 UTCThis will be a shorter status update. I'm working on static renders and the scenes I've been working on have a lot of characters and manual work per render. Currently, I have ~500 renders (posed + rendered). 84 animations are complete and my PCs are rendering some longer animations right now.
I'm going to start working on the first free-roam event soon and it's a fairly big one. Having already finished both Rooster and Swyper content will make free-roam event coding a bit faster.
Episode 5 has been given the title "HOTheaded". All I can reveal about the episode, without spoiling anything, is that it will be a bit different than Season 1 episodes and it won't have as many big branches as episode 4 had.
Two days remain of the "Special renders, main girl" poll. Jill is currently in the lead and Isabella is a close runner-up.
Today I sent all patrons of the Vice President and President tiers the second Acting Lessons Lewd Render set featuring Rena. This set is released to the +$15 tier in three weeks, on March 27.

I was just expecting this to be a quaint little Adult Visual Novel game, but man the characters...the storylines in both Acting Lessons and Be A DIK are outstanding. Paired with the music you chose. Makes you almost feel like you are a part of that world with how realistic the model designs are. I kind of want to buy both of them on Steam to get the achievements and stuff even though I have played Acting Lessons and Be A DIK at least 5 times each over the past 4 days to unlock everything.

2020-03-08 20:51:04 +0000 UTCToo bad you can't tell us but I'm excited about what's to come =D What I said about affinity meter was regarding import saves; in season 1 we had to make 7 mayor choices that took "chunks" of affinity bar, how is going to work in season 2? Obviously you can keep the same bar for all seasons, but will we start from scratch (0 DIK, neutral) or will you reset the bar keeping the affinity we carry from season 1?

I'm thinking in particular about the DIK "meter", will you keep the affinity and status or will you completely reset that? because I played a "full chick" character (in games with some sort of morality system, I always play as a good guy) and from the dik side I only have 4 "segments" (mayor choices) left. On the other hand, will you keep the same mini games or will there be others? And are you planning to add other apps?.

2020-03-08 00:15:21 +0000 UTCI really like messages and Rooster (even without stats) because it feels like you build a deeper relationship with the other characters and it's even better when they acknowledge that in some dialogue like it happens with Nicole in the second visit to the Pink Rose.

2020-03-08 00:01:02 +0000 UTCI have the theory that Jill's older sister is actually the MC's mother and therefore he's trying to date his aunt, and DrPink here is pulling a "Game of Thrones" one xD jk. I'm in love with Jill and I fear we might have a falling out with her in season 2 =( Derek and MC didn't complete the task "egg the preps", what will happen with that, I wonder?... One of the things I love about this game (beside Jill!) is that Dr has been putting "seeds" here and there giving a lot of room for expeculation: Bella's husband and the "mistery of the locked door", Jill's family, Quinn's "business" and deals with the Jocks, Troy night activities, etc. At first, I didn't like Sage (I play a chick character and it was almost imposible to talk to her or any HOTs) but she grew on me and now I want to know who the fuck is Chad's side bitch too :P
