Really to early to really give constructive feedback, Haven't even been able to work out if even a balanced path or just been an asshole or a floor mat, to be honest this alone keeps me putting off giving serious playtime. The apps in phone seem fine except brawler, thats just ridiculous and glad that you have canned idea of renders and such mini game only. Maybe if $ invested it might have more fun but with limit on dollars (both earnings and cap) you have no clue how much investing in mini game will cost you in main game next update. So as is you really only have choice on first attack and then obligated by cooldown so only choice after first turn is where to move and since you always moving first its random BS and all you can do is minimise angled or direct squares dependant on your attack available. Probably wait a few updates and try again but simply cant get into concept at moment.

1- "Free-roam (Aka: Sandbox)": Not a great fan of it. I prefer mostly traditional VN experiences. At least here it was mildly tolerable, since it was not a major aspect of the game, but i prefer without it. 2- "Mini-games": One more time, not a fan of mini-games as well, especially in VN’s where I expect the story to carry through, not mini-games. I can say the most tolerable one was surprisingly the math mini-game. English mini-game was tricky, I’m a non-native but have contact with the English language close to 20 years now, did the IELTS not for immigration purposes but for padding my CV for job applications in my own country, and even then, I found it somewhat tricky. Had a better experience playing thought with the mini-games OFF, but it’s not properly balanced right now, since you can earn Extra points with them ON. Did an ON and OFF playthrough, my enjoyment was tenfold with this preference OFF, so I appreciate the option, but it’s a bummer that you can’t unlock images with then OFF, but I somehow understand the reason. 3- "Major choices system": Finally, something I can fully support. This right here can be a game changer. 4- "Any favourite scene": Will need the fully package to rank it, but as of now, mostly involving Sage, Isabella or Quinn (Hope she's not a side-heroine only).

Fresh Prince

When picking up stuff in freeroam, it's nice if you can get a clue when you've found everything.

The Brawler game felt a bit repetitive. Perhaps it gets more exciting when you have more skills. The class minigames were fun! It's going to be hard for you to come up with new ones though...

I enjoyed playing and don't have much to critize, however: 1 - The first Brawler games were HARD and I still only win by excessively saving and reloading. 2 - Would it be possible to color-code the DIK/CHICK choices 3 - give some immediate feedback on stat-changes.

Mini games - Yes, but if the outcome enable content, I want to be able to retry them

Just thought "I want this person to have my money"

Chicken Knight

Just wanted to drop a big compliment. Because of this you made me join patreon. You are crazy talented - especially if you do all that really by yourself. You have an understanding of realistic expressions that gave me goosebumps because I didn't expect to see that in a private project.

Chicken Knight

Overall: awesome game, I really enjoyed it! The good times and the bad. Good story. - Freeroam: What did you think of it? I quite liked it. It was a nice change of pace from the main story to have options available, choosing whom to contact and what order to do things in, and hunt for the hidden objects, which were hidden in a way that made a vague sort of sense. My only advice is don't make the maps too complex. - Minigames: Which ones were fun? Which ones were less fun? I really enjoyed the tests, especially English and Gender Studies. On the English test I clearly cheated because the time was too short, but I enjoyed pausing the game to find 100% of the words on my own. The time turns out to be about twice as much as I need to enter them all, once I figure them out. Shuffle is a little frustrating but maybe I haven't figured it out properly yet. Brawler wasn't much fun I have to say, especially with low stats but even with high ones. At the moment I consider both of them chores to get the associated rewards. One thing I would say is they're both very thematically appropriate: a fighting game and a sexy pictures game are spot on for the setting :) One suggestion: the biggest shortcoming of brawler as a game seems to me that it's really not enjoyable with low skills, so you're not motivated to try again and improve; but on the other hand the opponent that rewards you with more skills is the one that's hardest to beat. How about putting the skill point as a reward for beating the medium difficulty opponent? Another suggestion: other appropriate apps for the setting would be something like tinder, or social networking. How about giving, say, the bio app a social look and feel, or seeing photos taken by other people of events on campus, e.g. the MC getting a wedgie? - Major choices system, it's still early in the game, but what were your initial thoughts? Not sure yet. I think it's good to have the major ones signposted in a long game. - DIK/CHICK system, what are your thoughts? Seems good to me so far. Most of all, the choices themselves seem to be thematically appropriate, and none of them seem too far fetched or clearly pathological (like being mean and petty just for the sake of it). - Any favorite scene? I thought nearly every scene was well placed - plausible and thematically appropriate. I don't think I have a favorite scene, but I do have characters I'm more interested in than others, so maybe I like the Maya scenes because <3 Maya :p and her brother was just odd on his own but he's a great foil for her to be mad at! Sage also seems like someone with a good heart, I look forward to getting to know her better. Lastly, the music kicks ass :p Good choice!

Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad you like the game so much. Buy cheats and boosters for the minigames that you need help with and you will find them much easier in the future. There was a bug in the Shuffle puzzle in the current release that has been fixed for the next release. It will also make the game simpler.

Amazing episode Doc! I am going to try and keep this short. lol - Freeroam: What did you think of it? I like the freeroam Doc. I like being able to roam and talk to some of the other characters, use the cell to call or play the games to earn cash. - Minigames: Which ones were fun? Which ones were less fun? I have always sucked at puzzle shuffle games and still do. I admit it's my least favorite but I don't mind playing it for the cash. I also haven't used the cheat yet to help with it. The brawler app is fun and pretty straight forward. Will there be other challengers or will those three be it? - Major choices system, it's still early in the game, but what were your initial thoughts? Is that where it says you have to be a DIK/Chick to make that choice? If it is then knowing that this is an important decision is nice. I like it. I like that you also give a warning about going to far down the road not to be able to go back. - DIK/CHICK system, what are your thoughts? I think it is an interesting system and kind of reminds me of some other games I play. - Any favorite scene? Can I just say all of them? LOL You really upped your game on this one Doc! I mean seriously, AL was amazing but you really have a hit here. The renders are Fing amazing and the animations are really smooth looking. If I had to choose one or two would be the MC and Isabella in the library after she caught him naked and Jill and Isabella after Jill talked to the MC. Isabella has my complete attention. I believe there is a story behind Bella and you haven't told it yet. =) I can't wait if so. I also get the feeling Jill and Bella are close from the talk and hug they had. I can't wait to see what episode 2 is like Doc!

Wolvy

Fully agree here. I've yet to see a "Can't be neither Dik or Chick" option.

CLAUS LARSEN

Just an amazing first release! More content than a lot of games have after a full year of development! I'll add to the chorus that the English test could use a bit more time. I also think maybe starting with 2 movement in Brawler would help a bunch of people out with it. That's really all I've got for constructive criticism, otherwise I just want more of everything! Especially looking forward to getting some wild angry sex with Quinn!

First off, amazing episode. Characters are great, there was a lot of content, and I had fun exploring everything in the episode. Story is shaping up nicely, as well. Very excited for the future episodes. General comments below: To echo a few others, the sliding scale system with two polarities is always a concern in games because you are frequently forced to choose one extreme or the other, else you will miss out on content or options. I do hope there is plenty of support for 'neutral' (or back and forth) type decision-makers and that we aren't consistently locked out of certain content because we don't totally align ourselves with one of the two extremes. I understand that it adds replayability, but it never feels good to be short-changed on content on a playthrough of a game when you ultimately made the decisions you *wanted* to make, and didn't lean enough in a direction. I think it's awesome that I want to make varied decisions in your game, that speaks volumes to the depth. I'm not just clicking whatever will get me to certain 'ends' faster. Think the DIK/CHICK distinction is also a bit out of place. I get the rhyming, but it feels like 'chick' is a weighted word that brings strange undertones when applied to decisions you make within the game (i.e. I didn't beat the shit out of my roommate, what a 'chick' move). Think it also could alienate certain people by labeling it that way. Not a deal-breaker for me, just the thoughts. Mini-games: I'll do them for rewards, but frequently it will feel like I'm just grinding (referring to the phone mini-games). Not sure I ever enjoy grinding during a game. I enjoyed all the test mini-games for your classes (math, english, gender studies). But that's a personal thing. I think the fact that there are certain in-game boosts will go a long way to reduce the grinding feeling, so that's a positive and I think a good design choice since not all games will be for everyone. I think the English test could prove difficult for non-native speakers as well, which is something to consider, potentially (again, I enjoyed it, though). Freeroam is fun as long as there are things to do. I think being able to text and call characters is a great way to keep the player immersed during these segments. I like that direction and think it should definitely continue to be developed that way. It's good to warn players about major choices, even though it breaks immersion a bit. It's always a feel-bad moment if a seemingly minor or innocuous choice ends up being a major thing later in the game because the context isn't fully developed. For example, taking Quinn's number seems harmless enough (what if you never use the service?) so the fact that I know it's being weighted heavily adds an appropriate layer of context. Enjoy the music varieties, and that we can go next on the player if we don't like the song. I think music is really underrated in games. On a similar note, I understand a lot of people enjoy voice-acting in these games, but for me, it frequently takes me out of it, especially if the actors are of varying levels of quality. Thank you for including the option to mute the voices, please keep this in the game! This episode is better than almost anything else out there, really excited to see where you take this project.
