Waifu Warz! Idea Poll [April 2024, Aqua]

they call me Aqua... Aqua-fina...

errrm okay... that sounded better in my head... he's right behind me isn't he??

I think the main thing I want to accomplish with this one is having Aqua be front-and-center, as opposed to Lv. 1 Slime Encounter where she was expanding alongside Darkness, or A Bloated Lich Inside This Odd Shop! where she served more as an instigator than anything. I'm also currently leaning toward this being an Aqua/Wiz/Megumin lineup (with maybe a cameo from Kazuma), but dunno what setting to throw them in... that's where this poll comes in!

Another Odd Day In The Shop

Picks up more-or-less where Bloated Lich left off, with Aqua now enlisting Megumin's help (because Darkness was extremely unhelpful, if you recall).

•  Both girls are in the shop while Wiz is away, scrambling to set something up before she gets back

• They settle on dangling a tome above the door that'll "transmogrify" anyone that walks beneath it. Note that this word is 4 syllables long and thus beyond either of these two's understanding.

• They read that it'll make the victim "large" and "purple", which makes them think "oh, like an eggplant? a tiny little eggplant on the ground? that'll sure be wacky and embarrassing!"

• Naturally, they screw it up and it triggers on Aqua. Also naturally, the "large and purple" turns out to be massive berry inflation. Emphasis is put on her growing taller than the shop.

• Plenty of Aqua wailing and squirming, Megumin leaps up a tree in the same manner as a scared cat.

• Ends in either Aqua flooding the town with a burst of juice or Kazuma arriving to berate Aqua on how dumb she is.

Not Your Typical Dungeon

This one riffs on the current flavor-of-the-month Delicious in Dungeon (or ダンジョン飯 Dungeon Meshi if you're nerdy) by throwing the three girls into a similar sort of "evil monster-filled dungeon BUT you can eat the enemies". The difference here is that while Marcille and Laios are a little bit silly, Aqua is stupid.

• Probably starts off with Aqua and Wiz aimlessly wandering around by themselves, the former declaring how "hopelessly lost" the two are and blaming Wiz to an over-the-top degree. Minor exposition on how these two wound up in here

• They encounter Megumin, whose EXPLOOOSION powers (being fire-based) immediately allowed her to figure out the whole "cooking enemies and eating them" thing.

• Wiz takes care to stock up on a bunch of different monsters that Megumin cooks, only for Aqua to eventually hog down on all of them

• One of them is something something blueberry pie and Aqua proceeds to swell up as such.

• Voicelines would have a lot of reverb at the beginning of the story, but this would slowly be choked out as Aqua occupies more of the room they're all in.

• Alt would be Kazuma coming along and assuming this is some sort of weird blue boulder, popping it with his tinymite (similar to "dynamite").

Lv. 2 Slime Encounter

Similar to the first scenario, this follows up on Slime Encounter-

• Aqua returns to the same forest (maybe deeper in the forest for variety's sake), wanting a "round 2". Alone. Overconfident "mono e mono" sort of deal. Maybe she goes up against like a boss/king slime?

• Aaand yeah as you can probably guess, she immediately loses this. I don't like retreading too much, so this part is made pretty quick. She doesn't pop this time around, leaving her enormous and helpless.

• Then comes Megumin, having been sent to look for Aqua.

• Aqua breathes a sigh of relief, fumbling around and grasping at straws for Megumin to boil the slimes into water "or something". Deep down, Aqua kinda knows Megumin's only trick is EXPLOSION.

• In a rare moment of wisdom, Megumin also knows this. Thus enters Wiz, cueing Aqua to freak the fuck out while Wiz tries to explain that slimes are far too 'neutral' for Aqua to purify.

• Wiz imbues dark energy into the slimes, turning them (and Aqua, by extension) a deep purple. Basically, she becomes berry-colored without blueberries being explicitly mentioned.

• Aqua is able to purify this into water, thus """defeating""" the slime. I use scare quotes because she's still full of water and the story ends with her being full of water :V

• Aqua is forced(!) to begrudgingly thank Wiz for her help. Womp womp.

You may also notice that these are all blueberry scenarios! This is mainly because I haven't done any blueberry scenarios in a long while, and a recent pic NintendoBlendo drew is giving me ideas on how I want to go about it... mine will probably be more belly/fullbody focused, but still maintain the more subtle blue.

...oh, and her butt. Do not let me forget about the useless-ass goddess' useless ass.
