That doughnut scene from The Simpsons is one of those things where you look at it and go "wow, if only this were a cute video game girl and not a balding father figure". Thankfully, EightXL obliged and animated this! With my help on audio, of course.

It may seem short, but there's a lot going on under the hood. As is the case with most of Eight's animations, the pacing is very quick. It may require a few re-watches to take everything in! It was certainly a challenge keeping the pace while being sure not to have the sounds get too abrupt and start cutting each other off.

This animation was also a good way for me to practice implementing pitch-shifting envelopes into my workflow:

(the "pitch-shifting envelopes" in question would be those lines over certain items. this is most noticeable on the rising "vrrrrRRRRRR" for the heal right before the doughnut-explosion)
